Title: Just an Idea to liven this place up a bit...
Post by: Fal2002 on October 04, 2002, 03:19:00 am: Right, what i had in mind is we have ourselves a tournament. Yep you heard me....a tournament. How? You Ask. Right...we do this by having all the people who want in (If it sparks some interest) face off one on one to see who can get the best time on your FIRST full run. That means if you fail sommet you can try till you actually complete the level. Once you have your time you give it to whoever runs the tournament (aka...Zeebo..NGamer etc). Once both competitors have given thier times to whomever it may be then Zeebo, N Gamer will post the times that both people achieved and the one who gets the better one goes through. This stops the cheating...my first idea was to have the players post thier times first but if the opponent sees what the other guy got then most likely he will post one better just to have himself go through.

Gimme your opinions...This could work if many people are interested, remember its just an idea so no flaming! ;p

Fal, I might do this thing, but I'm kinda busy doing the regular ones. One thing, though, what happens on levels where you fail the mission a lot like extraction/deep sea? Do you just have one chance and that's it?

Another good (and probably better) idea would be to have a week to get as many times as you can. At the end of the week all the times are put up on another web page (like the usual times you have) and Snap or Zeebo or whoever could set up another full rankings page for these 1 week times.

you need to back off my nuts. i was informed that i dont need vid proof unless it is WR (or 1-2 seconds off on some levels) and i havent even gotten close to any, therefor i only need pic proof. i only have 6, but i will get more soon but my moms bf is being an ass and wont put them on his computer. until a proof mod/someone with all that authority tells me i need video proof, then im just not worried about it. again, back off my nuts.

might as well make another one of those...or maybe 1:15 if i can get it, but i dunno...1:16 for sure though. just been more worried about some SA and PA now, so none of my A have improved for a while
