) so here. i'll start. i played some ruins agent today, after downloading a 1:14 vid. pretty soon into it i got a 1:20 fail, was amazed since my time is 1:27..so i kept playing, stopped for a while, then started again..i soon had a run in which everything was going right, good pillars, good grenade jump, even the double shard trick! very last king move, he warps..he warped at 1:16 with green shield, finished at 1:29..extremely pissed off i continued. a couple runs later, all went very very right; just as good as before..perhaps better!Ruins Agent 1:17.90!!(no round) beat my time by 10 seconds, amazing, totally unexpected.

Ruins Special Agent 1:51.15; 10 second improvement; no grenade jump either. i had a failed 1:45.00 just before it too; oh well.
this run was pretty good though, this one door was open for me and i don't know why..then i got the double shard thingy to work; so yeah.

Sloppy piece of crap... I die on all my good runs. One time I was almost full health after knocking out the two hackers, then when I go down the stairs to the doors there's about 5 guys blocking my way and I die in seconds...

i throw the laptop on the wall in front of the generator's room door. like 50% of the tries the alarm doesnt sounds off, but even if it does, the laptop will kill all the chumps that come on ur way when ur going back, so u can keep on the run. some tt's:
genenator room's door: 9.6 - best, 10.3 or something usually
door at the end of the corridor: 23.8 - best, usually 25-24
skip speech: 27.9 - best, i get 30.?? all the time
last lil door: 45.4 - best, usually it's like 47 (takes about 9-10s to finish)
0:56 or under is damn easy with this strat...

The only that i did that may be special is shoot the green tube thingies as the door before them was opening, so when the door completely opened i could just run to the next!

I've been playing a lot of CI PA and Pelagic 2 A, but I've had no luck at all. I'm getting really pissed at the Pelagic2 technicians...ever since I started playing the level a week ago, they haven't completed the objective ONCE. They've done it before, when I got 1:04, but they don't seem to want to do it anymore. That level sucks. :-\

If you let the cutscene run all the way through, the second elevator will be open a lot earlier.

Only a 1 second improvement, but I'll work on it. I got to the second lift at 1:30 (twice)(taking an extra 2s at the first lift), so I must be doing something wrong at the end, cause i don't press 'b' on the computer 'til about 1:50-1:51.

(NTSC)IT'S ABOUT TIME I got a sub 5:00. I finally figured how to get elvis faster, and got a lot of 1:15, 1:17, and 1:19 teleportal elvis's, where i would usually get 1:25-1:35 elvis's.
Got a 1:15 for this one, but I left the 'cetan megaweapon room' at a later time than usual (only 1 second later). To make up for it, I had AWESOME blondes.
After I opened the door it only took me like 1.5s to get the cutscene. I also got a door open for me by one of the cloaked guards on my way out. CI SA 1:49
No big story for this one

THAT'S 58 POINTS, making this best level.
I actually could've gotten a better time, like 2:04. I missed the first grenade into the holo room, so i had to shoot another. It still took me like two seconds to beat the level once I got into the room with the ship (Carrington was in the middle of saying his line, and I only (and always) use one combat boost.

My first 1.2 PR: Chichago A :21 from :24. Much easier to complete obj. 2, however I waste like 3 extra seconds getting into the dam storm drain, 1 extra second getting out, and 1 extra second aiming the mine. With 1.2 i've attempted the mine throw 4 times, getting 3 of them. (:24, then :23, then :21), so in a couple of days I'll have :15.

Iggy, I have a question for you. In CI PA, do you know any tricks to make the speech go by faster at the end? Is there a spot I am supposed to stop and let it run for a few seconds? Because I usually get to the hangar at the very end at about 2:04ish (can't remember...I'm just guessing), and I always have to wait for insane amounts of Carrington babble. Any tips? I have a 2:18 right now.

After you complete obj. 1, and you run back to the beginning, and you're now in the room with the blue floor (with the firing range to your left). You have to open the firing range door on your way to the first elevator. I'll assume you know how to do the top part ..... ahhh, i'll just tell you (skip next paragraph if you don't need it.
Get out boosts, run to the FAR right hostage door, activating the boosts where the far right door would be on the other side of the wall (I hope you got that)(TT :52-:53,you're time will probably be better). After your done, run to the next hostage room, and handle your business.
To get the devastator from Grimshaw (or the girl) the two hostages in the firing range have to survive, so you're going to need some luck there. Then, you complete obj. 4 and go back down the elevator, k7 or ar34 in hand for a guard waiting when you get down. Switch to Devastator and then go to the holo room. Now you're going to need luck/skill (which I'm sure you brought plenty with you). After you fire a grenade into the room, you need to COMPLETE OBJ. 2 RIGHT THEN(so you might need to fire two).
That way Carrington will talk about the 'shield technology' on your way over to it, about the 'getting access to files' when you start heading down the ramp, 'the bomb' after you've started with the DL, and his final as your heading there.

**In the holo room** aim the grenade(crosshair) a little lower so you don't kill the hostages, because killing all three will fail your mission which is probably what you've been doing.

i hate the A51 levels...i suck at them.
anyways, ok i got la horrible 1:26 on A51 Infiltration on agent, i have1 small problem..i can get to the button, and into the big door in 17 seconds, i have the guy knocked out, with key card...but every time i push the Lift door, i rush as fast as i can down, pause, pull out explosives before i land, rush in, set them from a good distance and take off...but now matter how fast i go, i never seem to make it (into the lift).
any tips?
(i got lucky 1 time, no one was in the way and i made it up the ladder smooth and into the lift)
sometimes i get up the ladder smooth and i strafe over but just dont make it.
i must be slow

he just told me that he got it... if PDO got it first, well.. good for him btw, i was tryin Infil PA, goin for a sub 2... and i just realized that if im goin for sub 2, i'll get 1:52 or at least a 1:53.. cuz the lift is timed right and such. i've had some nice talk with paragooness.. and i'll have to do a very fast run to catch the lift closing.. i got at the lift once at 1:41 and it was closed, and i died. i have to get there at 1:37-1:36. and that lift is random too... so suck it. 1:52 coming soon... 1:51? who knows?
ah it'll be on tape... and on a side note, my digital camera or my "pen cam" is gonna arrive tomorrow, i guess... so some nice vids of my runs are coming soon... i'll start with Ext A 0:51

Villa A - 1:19. I seriously need practice with 1.2 . I have no real problems, but I seem to "jerk around" the entire level trying to find the perfect straight path to take to complete the objectives.
MBR A - 1:35. OK I guess, one of the few times I got a good speech Skip on Cassandra. Awesome run up to the Jumpship.
WAR! A - 0:29. This has to be maxed for 1.1, I'll try with 1.2 later today, or tomorrow at the latest.

I was quite unlucky coz I had 1 boost back from the gaurd at the end of that long hall after exiting lift one. And another just before getting into the second lift.

grr i can't seem to get it up but the level isn't very hard =/
also i think i can get G5 A up to 0:50 because there are a few things i can think of that seem to waste 1-2 seconds. (for example, when i drop down from putting CamSpy, i drop and shoot the guards, instead of dropping in the doorway and past them all...that seems to save 2-3 seconds.)

funny dink Elvis was getting pretty limp so I had to waste more than 5 seconds to guarantee that he would complete obj. 2 and be able to come. He was being nice to me and came in like 20 seconds, and I also got the skedar to come quicker, so it was a faster ending. (Jo must've cut her skirt a little higher this time )P2 A 1:10

Well for PAL SOS SA , I just start when Elvis put his feet on the ground on the cutscene.Then I do the level as usual , except that whn I come back on the main corridor from the obj 1 , I empty a Dragon clip.Doing that way , it may attract a guard on the hangar with the first lift , so that the fist lift is either here earlier or closing when I enter that hangar.As a result you have extra time to catch the last lift before it closes.
For TTs :
Out of the long room in the main corridor : 0m20
Shoot the Bed at 0m35
Back on the main corridor at 0m44
Enter the first hangar at 0m59
Duck into the hole at 1m12
First lift fully closed at 1m20
Second lift fully closed at 1m44
Final time 2m07

Messed up a couple times, but if I didn't, I could've gotten under 4. Maybe some other time.
*'Holy Rayola' timesaver alert* It takes Jonathan about 35 seconds until he finishes saying, 'cover me Jo' until he begins 'okay, stand back' assuming there's no randomness in his time. Once he says okay, the wall is fair game. So, anticipate his line, and shoot. (Jonathan can take about 3-4 grenades before he dies.) Also, if your life permits, you can shoot the side of the wall, so you blow up the hole while running through, like in Rescue.
Edit: Actually, I tried it again and life doesn't have to permit on the second one unless you were standing really close to the explosion.

i know i have gotten first speech skip done at 39.something and have gotten to the power shut down room or w/e you wanna call it under 1 minute. But I have never actually survived that way...got lucky on the 39 and didnt have the alarm ringing...but 2 guards got in the way down the stairs and lost some time. And when i got in the Power Shutdown room in under 1 minute...alarms were blaring, and i had like 20 guards chasing me...i died horribly. (another edit: the 0:39 and sub 1:00 were both seperate runs)
Speaking of horrible deaths, i think it was neo...something about AB Espionage. I had the same glitch...if you throw your dragon and then switch to drugspy before you can even see the dragon, sometimes you will turn around in drugspy mode and see many dragons flying out of jo...weird glitch...horrible death. (sorry for the length of this edit lol)

Anyways...wasnt a good run. I know you can make it in the big door in 0:16.something (probably 16.50 or so because getting in 16 isnt too hard...) and i know you can make it into the big lift in late 0:35 (maybe faster...i didnt check my time getting into the place, probably late 16 or early 17. Anyways, I got into the lift at like 0:37 (or 0:36, not sure) and still got a 1:16. 1:15 coming up!
ohh and working on G5 LTK too...can kill all cloaked guards in under 0:25 on a good run! (not sure exact time) ( i use 2 different strats on that room that i had to work on making up because i didnt read anything on this damn level...)

i was in the lift at 35.something and it closed at 36.something.
i don't suck...i just got stuck on someone after getting out of the next elevator, then i hit the railing when i was about to drop. If 35 gets you a 1:12 then i guess it's possible and im actually gonna try it, cuz that means i could easily get 1:13. which means im gonna have myself a WR
btw greg...i suck, yet everything people do, you have nothing on, you always bring shades runs up into it, not your own. If everyone sucks so much, why do you have to use shades times? i mean, you claim he is so good...he has all these wr's etc, why compare him to me? might as well compare me to the top 10 members...cuz im no where near there, i added my points up, im in 90th, without a few levels points, so i could be in 88th or so. (plus my times are rising each day)

Rescue A 1:37 is real...its @#%$ like 6 seconds off the world record...i did have a crap run on it. and the Escape...i just have no idea what i am doing wrong. i simply forgot it took two or three seconds to close. and i got 0:35 over there. so i was just guessing i got 0:36. simple mistake, i checked, but that was last night and cant remember...it was 0:37-0:38 sometime in there as the lift just finished shutting. anyways, i got stuck on a guy near the end but for not too long.
and about the WR. you said if i got 0:35 in the big lift then i would get 1:12 so i said i guess i can get 1:12 (thinking i could get 0:35 in the big lift, which i cant obviously)
so it was partly my fault on that one =/ and i dont suck, and definitly not at strafing

got my CI A: 0:56 pic up, Infil. A 1:16 up, PII SA 2:14 up, and another 1 or 2. I couldn't get my 2:22 Invest SA up but theres a story behind that (so i used my 2:24...2:22 didnt take long anyways, i can get it easily or 1-2+ seconds lower after another 30 minutes of playing)

( i tried a few times...had a VEry close failed 2:35 or so but the alarm was sounded as i was getting in the room, and i managed to get halfway up the ramp before being shot! )

new WR, beating the old by 7 seconds, and my last by 1 second. ach, maybe samsim is talking about me, cuz im not in the elite yet. anyways, i have proof on some of my times, only picture proof, but i have vid proof of my 1:17 (since i accidently taped over my 1:18 i had to at least get that again, but i guess i did better)
EDIT: Btw people, we need to play LTK! most of the records can be dropped at least a second, and if someone like me who would be ranked 85 or so in the elite can take 7 seconds off G5, who knows what else can be done!
(it only took about 1 hour of practice on G5, then next day in 15 minutes i got 1:18...then it took 3 hours to get 1:17!)

anyways...you are mistaken...i have completed every level on every difficulty, and got all the cheats (no strats either
)but anyways, some times such (like my Villa PA is like 6 minutes...)
if the level is pretty tough, i usually dont bother trying it, but i guarantee, one day i will have all my times up, but wait til i improve them all...(only like 8 or so out of every setting is above 6 minutes, mainly Infiltration PA, investigation PA, and Deep sea PA (SA is like 5:20 lol))
anyways, guess i am sending a tape to someone, with my G5 LTK 0wnage. i'm proud of my 1:17 and trust me, it was hard...but i think i can actually get higher...i learned you can run past a lot of people (dampening room you can run past all 3 sometimes, but mainly only 2)

ruins pa 2:25, I was robbed I tell ya. I was on a run that would have been about a 2:10 but the falcon didn't register when I went to put it down so I had to go back. Poor pillar combination.
NSPD if you have times for all levels then post them all. Just because they are not as good as you think they should be doesn't mean you should hide them. For every level with an N/A on it you are being credited with a default time of 20:00. This suck if most of your times are a lot faster than that. Just post your times as when everyone sees them it gives you the incentive to play those levels and you will improve believe me.

actually, i feel like beating G5 LTK some more, cuz maybe 1:14 is possible, or even lower...i can get down to the bottom of the steps of the dampening room in 0:31 on a really good run, but the only time i did that, i got the alarm sounded (a guard from the next room right below the camspy area comes through the door once in a while for some reason? really gay.

infact that puzzled me. I made his shield go black and with 2:03 on the clock I had 1 prong and the main thing to take out which usually takes only a few seconds. So I line up the final prong and watch the king go back to his normal position. Then bam! a rocket comes my way and I'm dead. The king is standing on the right hand side with his shield on full yellow WTF? he return to the centre I'm sure of it, and again I get conned out of a good time. </complain>

Had a wierd thing happen though. I was on the bridge waiting for elvis at 2:37 (would have gotten a 3:11 ish time) but he didn't turn up untill 3:07. The wierd thing was that the skedar turned up before he did but when I killed them the final objective didn't complete. Very strange.

Can someone help me. I have a few questions.
1. Sometimes after I drop off the falcon 2 and dodged the slayers and stuff and then run up to the top of the ramp where the door is, I open the door and there is an explosion out there. Is there some way to avoid this?
2. When I am dropping my gun off, do I have to wait until I see the gun on the alter before I leave? Every time I get there I don't want to risk trying it. (and I can't watch the vids because my computer has no Sound hardware, so don't tell me to go watch it.)

coulda been 30+ seconds better...i had a run where i just blew up the UFO and was running straight to the lift that was wide open, but the guy standing there was about to shoot me (full red health). i only had 4 bullets...i tried to hit him with 1 but missed and died. btw, i was right by that open lift at 2:11 whereas my 3:02 was a 2:40+ list (i remember i pushed the button at 2:30 but had to wait a long time...)

hmm, a pretty damn good run, never stopped for anything (except data uplink part...) but i only messed up on that lost about 2 seconds, because i smashed B and then Z like 3 times...but it wouldnt connect! ahh well it finally did, and i made it out...that was my only mistake...stil 14 seconds off the WR! (2:05) im beggining to wonder how 2:05 is possible...

i hate chicago on A and PA but i am quite satisfied with that time...got end screenshot...tape...and tried to digital camera video it...but it took 4 times to get it all on...my dig.cam. doesn't hold long videos.
Had my first 0:30 Chicago PA failed run...(missed damn tracer bug...) and a few more failed 0:31...i will actually get one of those sometime, maybe this week if i feel like playing still...im just patiently waiting to get in the elite.

i tried for about an hour on Duel SA and still can't get 0:06!! i have had 2.89 Datadyne guards and spun around, perfect head shot on jonathon...still 0:07! i had at least 12 perfect 0:07 runs that i thought were 0:06

after playing PA on that level...running past everyone is a breeze (especially comms rider area...) but i have trouble making the lifts. just missed the first lift, but made it come back up before the door shut...and had to wait for the second lift as i was in full red health being shot at by 2 guys...

Do the lifts run at random speeds or something? I got in the last lift right as it opened, but in Paragon's 2:17 vid, it's wide open before he gets there. I dunno, maybe I was just slow at the end.

anyways, after playing it really safe and only taking about 20 minutes on Attack Ship PA, i finally got sub 5.

believe it or not, after being almost 1:20 off the world record, and a really really slow run, that still gets me 27 or so points, and it dropped my time (whatever it is) down 6 minutes.
gonna work on that villa PA strat sometime with throwing the stupid laptop gun...havent tried it yet.
and...i thought i could get a new WR for Investigation A (like 1:25...)
but it seems the guards in the data uplink room wont open the door.
i can get it to work fine on other levels, but i disarm a guard and he will be right by the door and never open it...*sigh*

i got my 0:30 with a 15 something bombspy...and how the hell is 12 possible! thats fcking fast! i thought the absolute fastest was about a low 14...because i got that with no mistakes, and the bombspy floated to me the instant i blew the barrel up, and it was crazyness.

now this run was so sweet.
it wasnt as fast as i hoped. but, the awesome thing is...i got to the first big lift with almost full red health. somehow i booked it up the ramp, past the guard, then past 4 more, and into an open lift , then ran out and around to end, without getting shot one time. ive made it there with more than half green health and still died. i guess im getting better. (or lucky)
and it only took 4 tries.
EDIT: now that i think about it, the insane paragon strat can make it the whole level without losing any life (or just a little)
i heard you can make it past the comms rider area without losing life. do the level like that, and you can book it past all the guards at the end. if you are lucky, you might actually be able to beat the level with near full life. i would try, but i cant seem to do the comms rider area, only on A/sA (yes ive tried it on agent before)

blah, getting better...almost full health going into lift 1, and not so good health into lift 2. plus i actually had to wait for lift 2 (only about 2-3 seconds) unlike on my 3:10 where it was already there. guess i better time cutscene about 2 seconds later. blah. (can probably get 2:55 if i do comms rider area faster...i kill almost everyone there...)

My god, my hands were shaking after I got done with a 3:36 on PA. And I could have done much better. Well, thanks to SlayerRocket and SamSim for writing strats on this level. I'm still working on Agent and will probably improve SA as well.
EDIT: Yeah NSPD, I did change the strat a little, I shot the first interceptor with my magsec really fast and then used the rocket launcher on the third one so that I could get out of the area faster without those stupid guards shooting me off course. I was taking my time at the end because I had no life at all. That's why I didn't do quite as good as I could have. I would try for a faster time, but I need to work on some others like SOS. I was in the first lift at 2:00(for SOS), but I keep getting killed. If I can just get past that part I could make it.
