ahh i wanted to post here but had no new times, so i went and got this...
sad part: almost touched the back of the car, i was so close to it, to make sure i hit the tracer bug. then, i got stuck on a guard going through the passage to the remote mine. coulda been 32-33 but ahh who cares...also, actually had a 3:50 run on escape SA, but i suck at the end...i had the medpack administered at 2:55, and i think i had a faster one, but i always do horrible at the end.

Yes. Finally. I couldn't stop playing the damn level until I got a decent time. It wasn't as good as my other run, but I blew the saucer at 2:13. I also didn't press B right at the computer at the end and had to go back, but overall I am pleased. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't do this.

as for A, i have no idea what the wr is (ntsc) but i have 1:57 too, which means...its probably only a few seconds lower (like 1:53 or so)

It's not hard, you just have to push elvis pretty good, get a good teleportal elvis, and then leave the big blue room at the right time. Using Prox. mines helps with that.

man i have really taken time off this one, when i came here it was 9:50 and i hated it...now the level is pretty cool.
anyways, the bot in invest...it is random. no (known) way of getting a consistent 50. it happens when it feels like it.

If i was to get in the lift and it was completely shut at 1:30, assuming i do good on the lasers (or somewhat good), about what time should i be getting?

i was busy working on the insanity levels (inves, infil PA) but with no success. i think i can get my 1:41 CI SA up to 1:36, i had 2 of those in a row (i died at 1:35 one time when i was in the last room, and carrington was almost finished with his speech i was so mad )and im working on: Chicago SA: 0:29 or 0:28, Chicago PA: 0:30
have had a total of 3 failed 30s on PA now, and one i actually missed the mine! so sad, i guess i need to calm down when i am going fast.

go down the tunnel for about 1 sec, wait 1 sec, run up, and throw nother mine, so it destroys other 2. disarm trent (around 1:11 i think) and then take pres to where he needs, and get back into cave at 1:55 or so maybe faster maybe slower, then get out of it, head straight, but not out, stay to left, head around a bunch of stuff, and kill some guards...drop off some cliff, and head around, stand on this little hill and *bang* blow up ship, which will be barely visible behind a drone gun.

wow i am really lowering these times today, with a total of over 30 seconds just from A/SA/PA on this level. i dropped almost 3 spots in time, close to under 60. (at 60 now)

(i have posting in this without new PRs so i got that just in case....but to iggy...to save pres on crash site PA, i run out of the cave, backwards, and over by the big rock, and usually hes in your site by then, and you dont go to the ship...when you get just past the rock, just run around it, and the president makes it...maybe it is longer, who knows.

i didnt complete the glitch into his office so i had to do it again 3 TIMES then at the end i didnt land on the terminal and had to go around and got stuck behind a gaurd
I ACTUALLY GOT 24 POINTS
im going for 2 minutes its easy i just never land on the terminal so the gaurds kill me die but i can do everything else perfectly...people really suck at that level cuz i actually got points for a discustingly pitifully pethedicly sucky run

I finally found the secret to paragon's speed strat. Do it fast and get lucky. The only damage i took (from that part) is from the drone gun thingie on the way out. I was so nervous waiting by the final lift, but luckily on my way there one of the guys close to the lift threw a grenade and killed himself.
Edit: Now just AS PA left to really reduce my time.

Defection PA: 2:09 damn perfect run did all glitches even last terminal but the only reason its not sub 2 min is because i cant skip his speeches (hardest in the game to skip i think) and i went a little slow to get all glitches perfectly and it got me 62 points so im happy

maybe you are a good strafer...since it takes a lot of strafing on that level, you got that time, you must be pretty good...it took me forever to get under that, and im stuck at a gay 1:18
which im sure i could beat, if i decided i to play that level sometime...way to go on the times, and fal, way to go...p2 PA isnt as hard as it may seem, you have to just run through a lot of guys, i did, and got a 2:50 which is pretty good i guess.ohh yea: villa PA: 1:57.

EDIT: I was wondering, does carrying lighter weapons change your running speed? I think it just might cuz when running to the helipad in Extraction, I used to always carry the rocket launcher, but recently, I started switching to disarm when I turned off night vision and I seem to run faster. Not only that, my times have also improved. Can somebody confirm this for me?

and for investigation...you just pretty much run run uplink run more at the end...with a 52 bot you can get 1:32 but i find that hard...i had a 49 bot, but i @#%$ up , and i got my 1:34 with a 52 bot...
and villa pa...i got the level down pretty much now. i know how many bullets you need! i usually do it with around 115, but i have done it with 109....and my best, was a failed 1:46, in which i missed the first hacker on accident, i thought he died but i guess not. so i just continued, since i didnt want to run through 800 guys by the stairs to find him.
and on escape SA: what the hell! i usually get 2:50 medpacks, but i got a 2:47...and that should get me like 3:45!? damn, i wish i could...i always get over 4:00 with those, because i smash the stupid thing for about 8 seconds, then i run to the other one, and smash it, and it activates, and i have to run back, and reactive the other one because it never went off. total gayness.

I think i can answer Dark0Perfection's question. After the lasers, at every door you meet, don't stop strafing. Press B while on the run and don't stop. The door shouldn't hesitiate and you should be at full speed when it opens. I used to have a 1:38 before i tried doing this. Trust me, it works.
Oh, and another tip. When you're using the data uplink to unlock the doors, stand as close as you can to the door and when you hear the little "beep" from the door unlocking, press B as fast as you can and do what i described above for the rest.

I started the cinema right when the cinema switches to the guards view and I made the lasers at like 1:4?. I took the ending slow because I had a run before this that could've been around <3:15 but I was messing up on some parts and I was mutilated by the drones. Yeah, so I bought some PDs off ebay and I got my first one yesterday. My fastest bot so far has been a :51, which was at least 1.5 secs faster than any of the bots on my other cart. So yeah, the random cart thing is true IMO. I f anyone wants some extra PD carts, look on ebay. I'll be selling them.

What is up with the first lift on SOS SA? It seems to come at different times. Does it just depend on when how fast to guy gets to it? He also seems to block the door from closing somtimes.
I almost had a 2:05 a couple times, but I get to the last lift a split second too late even though I make the first lift. I can't remember exactly what time it comes without waiting the cutscene, but it was just barely out of my reach.

BTW, dont yell(or type hard) at me if this is old news but whenevr i complete a mission it shows the objectives for the next mission and and can either accept or decline but after a beat deep sea(agent for sure, not sure about the other two) i dont see next objectives and my only choices are continue and replay last level. is this true for any of you guys?

*I had a 1:09 Elvis, and it was somewhat wasted. First, Elvis gave me the farsight in the beginning, which i can never get past. Luckily for me he ran pretty fast when he didn't shoot like 3 skedar. Second, i was caught offguard in sabotage room (obj completed sooner than I thought. Third, when I was running to the door where all the guys are waiting behind, they opened right when I pressed 'b' so that closed it and i had to open it again. And finally I got stuck on a guy for 1s.

shouldn't you pull the president outside of the room, and then back up to the stairs? that way, when cutscene is over, you are right near the stairs...doing it this way, i got the mine off...and had laptop out, and the 2 guys in next room..weren't there! i made it there once and right when i opened door, they appeared...but my fastest, i made it in to right in front of where the guy appears in front of you, and then he appeared...i almost passed him up. but i think this could be faster? i mean, pres is closer to place, and you get there faster...who knows. someone should try?

wasted the run of my life here !!!!! Got the first lift closed at 1:19"1 , as a result I managed to get in front of the second lift while...it wasn't open yet !!!! I lost at least a sec here , and lost another one as I was in full red at the end , had to be safe...I missed the final comp too...well I guess I'll keep playing it...SZ you will lose another untied PAL Record soon I guess EDIT : I just checked the Rankings , ans it appears that 2:03 give 9 more points than 2:04 (92 for 2:03 , 83 for 2:04).As a result I'm going for 2:03 , no matter what.I think that it is perfectly possible to get it with a 1m19 lift like I got for my screwed 2:05.SZ , u're online , are u still active or playing another dumb game ? but can someone please help me with rescue SA
i dont even know the strat. i know the beginning, rush to lift, then next, blow guys up, throw dragon, go throw wall...
but what next? do i go do xray first, or get suit first? i have tried both ways, and i failed one way but i did the other way and got about the same time, and finished with a stupid 2:53, which could have easily been a few seconds faster, but i dont know how to get 2:24! (or even under 2:40...)
there arent any vids, and the stratscentral strats only have a 3:00 strat which is not very helpful...
btw, bosshardt...is awesome. he already has around 2:05:00 and has 3300 points. thats f*cking good, im only a minute faster (somewhere around 2:04:00) and i only have 2700 points. damn.
edit: ahh what the hell, instead of just spamming and asking questions, might as well throw some times in:

Start when Jo says her 1st or 2nd word, run to the lift, close it when you can make it in and not waste too much time (you'll have to get the timing), and do all the other stuff. Get the disguise first. Just run, no need to shoot. When the guards that talks to you starts talking to you close the door behind you. Then kill the other scientist, grab the keycard and run. Just run til you have to kill the guy with the keycard to get into the autopsy area, and finish the level. Nothing special to this level.

damn thanks for the strat iggy...took 2 turns to get 2:38, and another 3 to get this. coulda been faster, made it madstyle out of the keycard room, past the tranquilizer guys, but then i came to a guard who gave me a horrible boost (head on, i went from just over halfway green health to half red...) damn, but this is over 70. f*ck i wish i knew this strat before. and im under 2:04:00 now...and up a spot (maybe 2 or 3, i dropped like 18 seconds...)
damn, karl is the only person to have under 25 minutes on Agent, and 4 more seconds and he will be the first to break 35 on SA...
ohh well, i will be fine with breaking the 2 hour mark
ok anyways, im not even in the 5 minute club. coulda been there a looong ass time ago, all i need is deep sea SA, but i suck at that level. ok, i can do everything, get passed all the guys, go down the ramps, and get to the big huge room, with elvis, at 3:00. but then i kill the 6 or so skedar, and then run like hell back to the teleportal..and no matter what i do, i always seem to get there at like 4:35 or so, and i cant seem to get under 5. damn this level sucks. i wouldnt mind a 4:59 ...

I think my SA 1:37 will be my next target. It is only 80 points... Hmm. I had the most perfect SA run I have ever seen until the last guard. It was funny what happeded although it totally ruined my super run. I opened the first door of the last set of doors and Cass runs through it. Then the guard opens the other side... Cass was stuck behind both doors. It looked like she was in a jail cell or something. I killed the stupid guard and restarted cause It wasted too much time... Maybe later...
edit: I just need a 1:35 or better on SA to be on the leader board. Damn, that messed up run had the potential to be a 1:29 - 1:32 and I was so close to the end too. Hell, she probably would have done something stupid like run back down the steps or something anyway just to piss me off.

damn this was madstyle. only saw first skedar, then i turned last corner, and saw all 3 skedar come popping out of door, so i blasted into the group, got a mauler, and snuck through and didnt even get stuck. then when i was going to round the corner by the king, another set of 3 was over there, and i got boosted back, but snuck by and got a ridiculous style king shot, followed by another back boost, but then as i ran by, i got like a triple boost which was awesome. door wasnt open either. i think 50 or 49 will be cake. same with PA. (0:58 or so)

i havent given this level much chance. mainly because when i got my 3:04 i sucked, and well i thought the level was actually hard. i was scared of the UFO room, i usually died there. but now that part is simple. i had a faster run, i had a whole clip off on the UFO, and had like 25 more bullets still, and the lift was opened behind me waiting, timer was 1:59!
but damn i was shot from under, i was too close to the rail, i saw the guy doing the gay walk and shoot, i thought i would survive, but i didnt realize i had no life...about 3 steps back would have saved me, and got me under 2:30. damnsqueezed my way up 3 more ranks with just that time
up to 46 now, and it seems like the 2:02:'ers are all somewhat close, there are 5 more in the 2:02 minute mark. damn, if i can improve another 19 seconds (with a 2:20 Maian SOS PA...) then i will move up 2 more ranks...

im getting so close to the WR...i make plenty of mistakes to get me at least 1:41, but ohh well. i cant believe the 1:45 was over 90 points, and i actually improved it. damn this level is fun...if i get a good laptop throw (b+z before i even open the door so it throws like instantly) and i get the hackers, i should have 1:40. this 1:44 took only 10 or less tries. hmm.
and what a coincedence, it was on my "master tape," which doesn't even have anything good on it anymore (except AB PA 2:46 which sucks, and Duel SA 0:06) but hell im gonna add like all my times, probably today or tomorrow, and then maybe even send it by the end of the week...i dont wanna get too many records and then have to prove myself with like 50 runs all at once.

so gay...i wasnt even out in the hall when i had to leave, but i did get both speech skips. i found a somewhat consistent way of getting a decently fast pres, which if i get good skips and make it to the hall, i should get nice under 1:30 (maybe 1:28 or so...)
but ahh well anyways i guess i better play this level, next to Deep sea its probably my least point level (i think have like 10 points total here...)

Yeah, it's not really a pr, but I wanted some help with this:
I got this on a 52.23 cutscene, and @#%$ up pushing the president. Then, a few runs later, I get a 52.01 @#%$ cutscene, but he prez comes too late. I think Greg K said he got 52.16 once, and a 1:23.10 final with a different cutscene. Has anyone heard of anything better?

well im getting good at this level, 1:36 will be soon, maybe 1:35. but anyways, i need like 3 more seconds and i will break the next minute mark on SA. so i was playing Attack ship SA yesterday...damn i had a 3:13 that i completely @#%$, and ended up with like 3:25 because i looked at the timer and messed myself up. ohh well, when i am satisfied with my AF1 PA time, i might give this level a shot...
edit: ahh f.uck attack ship sa, that level is getting on my nerves now. after playing some af1 PA and then attack ship pa, i figured i would go for stupid skedar ruins sa. well that level is gay, but i did get:

bad setup, and i wasted a lot of time messing up (i was in kings room at like 1:30 or so) so it sucked major ass. i think i can get around 1:50 but i dont want to stick around right now for the good setup. ohh well, this time breaks another minute mark for SA...(in the 40:00s now...hoping for A under 30 which i got, SA under 40, and PA under 50)

villa isnt that bad...there isnt much lag, except when you head back to the basement, and lookdown removes some of it, but only saves about 1-2 seconds.

Timewise, I haven't been keeping track much since I don't care about that too much being that I suck at Caverns 00A and most of the tough PA missions here. i played over 6 hours of AS PA last night. damn. I didnt complete a single time...but i am really awesome at most of it now. i can pretty much run through the whole level unharmed but i always mess up somewhere. i dont know if its good, but my best lift in the big room at the start is 1:21, which seems pretty fast (WR run probably was like 1:15 knowing my luck) but just like on SA, elvis usually dies if i go fast. i made it to the end to lifts, the first one was open at 2:46, and elvis died, so i think that could have gotten me nicely under 4 minutes...i had almost full life too. maybe i will play this one...i was working on SA, since i am much better now (should be able to get at least 2:50)

when you go up the lift at like 0:49-0:51 (or if you are slow, somewhere else in the 0:50s) then book it, open the door, and shoot the skedar without stopping, turn corner, shoot next without stopping, open door, turn right, wait like half a second or something and shoot the next, reload, run through door, shoot one from far...just book it into the room you need to, go in a bit so both can see you, shoot one to the left, then shoot the one on the right, open door and run like hell. after you get up the ramp, turn left and shoot the one from far or dont shoot him at all if you want. run past, turn left down the hall, and there should be one far down, dont worry about him. when you get there, turn right, and open the door which opens extremely fast. go right, and follow through the doors, and shoot the brown things while strafing. you can use AR34 or mauler, but if you are running low on maulers bullets, just use AR34. well after you destroy those while in strafe keep going, head up and hopefully elvis survives. i never make the lifts (i make it there at like 2:00 or so but the lift isn't there...but i've made it faster)

l pugged my 64 in, threw PD in, played this level 2 times, and this popped up. so i quit and went back to PS2
i will try for better...after the Obj. 3, i got to the first door at 1:30 which seemed fast but i was doing great and the bot was already at the lasers (second opened like less than 1:40 i think...i almost didnt have to wait...) but i suck at the end, i bet i lost a second.

i have only been in theis elite for a few months and i already know that you continually flame people when most of the time they are BETTER than you at PD. And if i have the duel SA record i would be even farther ahead of you.

I think many, if not all, have heard about me. I am the Elite`s Official European Proof Moderator for some time now, and one of GoldenEyes veterans.
I have been active for PD about 2 years ago, so now I will make a little restart. Nobody believed me when I got Villa a 1 16 with 1.1 early 2001, tying Paragon. I was a n00b, and n00bs couldnt get good times, and bla bla bla...
Dont expect anything from me, GE is my fortress. I am not planning to put tons of energy into PD. I will be aiming for 50th place the coming weeks. I got some records lately:

crap. i can get around 2:05 (just like SA
) but who knows...i need at least 2:15, cuz thats over 50 pts, and i wanna make 50 pt club. (all but deep sea of course)at least halfway there
ohh yea, this puts me 25 seconds over the 2 hour mark
and it takes my PA time 16 seconds under the next minute (51:44...maybe i can break 50, considering my infil + AS PA are soon to drop a minute hopefully)

lost over 20 seconds. really slow, i caught a 2:58 lift going to bridge. i got 3 different 2:42's, which would get me around 3:39 or so. actually, i missed the first skedar, then the second, i must have lost 8 or so seconds there cuz i was ducked and i was turning slow. gay.

And here is an idea. If it is a slow cass, then let her open that door to the stairs. Sometimes she will turn fast after doing that for some reason.
You got 1:39 for A? I remember the two times I got 1:39 for PA. They were both some of the crappiest runs ever. Yes, cass even talked in them, and I missed both speech skips. Oh well. 1:37 should be cake, but I can't seem to get it right now. I want a 95 pointer.

i got my 3:45 with 2:42 lasers, and this run i got 2:30 lasers (basically just went faster...)
so i should at least get 3:33, and if there is a faster bot /i can do faster at the start, i might be able to get under 3:30. but i guess this time is nice...for now. gonna try to take off 2 seconds from my A time now, so i can break 28 minutes. im at 28:01 now...gay.
edit: it seems marshmallow and i are the only ones in top 40 with A > 28. hmm...soon, it will hopefully be only him.. (im in 36th place at the moment, after update...made a small 6 place or so jump)

the latter two i got some time last night, the first i got this morning...also, i can see an improvement in AS SA, as I was playing this morning and i caught a 1:56 lift...ohh, and i got elvis to come out at 2:26, but i was so @#%$ pissed when the skedar came out of the other door ! then it was madness. i punched my TV so hard...damn...but i think i can do it again, although it is kinda hard. i cant seem to even get under 2:35 on agent...elvis is a bitch..

yea so like...it was slow as hell, but i was being safe, because i looked at the times thing and realized my time dropped to 48 points and i needed to bring it up...i wish i could be out of the lift at 1:36 again...its damn @#%$ hard as hell. hell, i can at least get in the 2:20s, but it might actually take over an hour so pooh that idea. ohh yea, my P2 SA: 2:12 gave me 29th, and so like im getting closer to 28...i should easily have over 4k points by now, i dropped at least 2 minutes since last update i think. ohh well, just gotta wait and see...
