Why on earth would you disregard a World Record that is taped?  I know this has occured atleast once (Jean-Francois Dubreuil).:\

How so was it disregarded?  The tape came.  The time went up.  Ok, maybe I shouldn't be talking but that's how I see it.

avw6s, I agree with you. To disregard a taped record would be just plain stupid. No fool would do that.

Good job we don't, then.

Unless of course you're talking about a faked or incomplete tape, or one which nobody has seen yet. Tapes don't help too much in that case.
