man... i had a 1:56 where, get this...i made it to the very last guy, FULL HEALTH. not a single shot, karate chop, kick anything. completly full health. but of course, i missed the snipers, which was kinda odd, but i only had 105 bullets
you can actually get it with 110 or so though, i have.
edit: ohh yea fal, expect those crash site times to go down!
anyways...10 more seconds til PA time is under. be prepared guys, its going down with my next post.

i was working on investigation PA last night...on my second try, i got both good computers, and then i did something gay, but next turn i got them again, and i just missed the lasers! i was halfway between the door and the lasers and the closed
but be assured, that i will be playing this level soon...maybe a 3:00 will come up or something, who knows...btw, no new RRs from me, or for some time now. i broke my controller...i might just go out and buy one or two today if i feel like it (but its sunday...dunno what place is open that sells them)

Hmm. I need to get a new controller too. Mine is crappy. I still seem to be able to get decent times, but it is still crappy. I can turn left faster than I can right for some reason. I think it is from holding it over on Duel. Who knows? Nintendo makes crappy controllers. Where can I get a good one anyway? I saw one at Walmart for 12 bucks, but it was some generic crap.

Dark0Perfection, will you please please please change the background. No offense, but I hate it. It is hard to read the times, and stupid in general. A plain black background would be optimal.
If you want some flames or something, you could put it in the title. That would be cool and it wouldn't make the times hard to read.

or enemies with 1000% accuracy, and 1000% damage, so the instant they shoot you are dead no matter what? i have to admit, ER is easier, i mean, you have to almost be stealthy the first 20-30 times you play some LTK levels but ohh well i will give ER a shot.
btw, getting a controller today, and i had one temporarily last night that sucked ass (C-up got stuck all the time it was gay) but i got a RR i forgot what it was, it was extraction PA though, around 2:10 i think. not quite sure, i will get it later.

And upon further playing. This is HARD AS HELL!! They blow up critical mission objects all of the time, and I can't even beat WAR! on agent! I almost beat villa which is hard. Those rockets fly way faster than you think NSPD. I merely look at a sniper and 2 or 3 rockets come crashing near me the next instant. LTK didn't seem this hard to me when I beat 11 levels...
My own Maian buddies blow me up... Imagine Elvis or Jonathan with a rocket launcher and trying to keep him alive... And then tell me it's easier.

These are mainly directed at Fal BTW.
Rescue PA is really easy to get a good time on as it is 80% strafting. Don't be satisfied unless you have a time under 4:30.
Attack Ship is just cake as long as you know what you are doing. I am not just talking about sub 5 min here I'm talking sub 4 mins also. I guess I really should try to get under 4 mins.
Anyways, SOS is stupidly easy and should be your next target. If you can get under 5 mins then you can get under 4 mins.
Deep Sea is a little bit tougher. Make sure that you get Elvis to the room where he activates the portals at about 2 mins and the rest is more or less just running. Use Silfreons strat as it describes more or less what to do.
Investigation is easier than you think. If you activate the hatch straight away and then do the bot. Now you have untill the clock reaches 3:05 to get the experiments shut down and collect the K7 by using the hatch you open earlier and collect the NVGs (odviously). If you take the slow DU room then you should have a lot of health left for the finish. En route to the shield only kill the K7 guards and leave the dragin guards as they should not hit you at all. On the way back just stun them and then run the drone guns at the end. Personally I run down the left hand side then about half way I move over to the right. Even if you did this slowly you should be on a time of 4:30ish.
Escape is a lot like SA so treat it as such. Activate the console on the way to Jonathan but collect the med pack on the way back. Also while on the way to him use the Superdragons secondary funtion as you can more or less kill the guards before they ever realsie that you are there. Use the mine placement to save you many seconds and gaining the quicker cut scene. After the cut scene should take you 1 min or so. When you get the speech started it takes about 40 secs so the main thing is to get the speech started asap. Then activate the consoles yourself.
FOA NSPD.
To get under 4 mins you will need a cut scene of about 3.05 at worst. To get the extra time saved, push Elvis to the saucer as then push Jonathan as far up the ramp as possible before Jo's last line, "there must be a way out of here". Then by the time you get to the first console the music should just be changing and so it stops you from hammering then console 5/6 times and still not getting it activated.

and for escape: thanks for the help...i can get to the cutscene at 2:47, which according to someone (forgot, greg k maybe?) they said i can get 3:45-3:50 i think with that, which i usually get under 2:50 cutscenes.
anyways...im at school...this class, then lunch, and 2 more, and then i get my controller. i have goldeneye now too so i will be playing that some
but i am going to play a few suck levels on here that i really need to improve and then maybe on to GE tomorrow since no school.

I am kind of figuring out how to do speech skipping. I skipped some speeches on AF1. Do I HAVE to be hearing the speech when it is paused to actually skip it? It seems like I skipped it anyway, but I'm not sure.

and KS, speech skipping isnt that hard once you get the hang of it. on AF1 its easier to skip jo's speech than the pres's. and no sometimes it just completely skips the speech and you dont hear it.

Dark0Perfection, the auto-updater basically updates a page itself. Right first of all there is a file named "roster.txt" which you must edit or leave it since you will recieve it from me, basically you enter everyone's details and then save it.
Also there are two files elite.bak and elite2.bak which are html for the actual page which is gonna be updated. Do not edit the times part where is should have "****" becuase they are important, only change things which wn't make anything go wrong.
Once you have sorted all that out, you click on "Cel.bat" which is a dos program and it will tell what it is uploading, its uploades a lot of pages so be patient, it takes around 5 minutes for me to update. Once it has finished thats it.
Oh, theres another 2 files called upload or sommet like that, one of them has a password and @#%$ that you must enter for YOUR OWN site. To make it very easy, use angelfire.com to upload.

I read that thing about Assasim being suspicious. I just have this to say. When he joined I'm pretty sure his time was over 5 hours, and then on the next update it was around 2:15:00. That seems like a humongous drop to me. I have been playing a lot and haven't even been able to get that far down in time yet in over a month.

EDIT: And Assasim, don't get me wrong. I am glad someone beat my MBR times. They actually sucked before, and now they are really good. I like competition. I even think I have a shot at the World Record for MBR (on my 1:34 ALOT went wrong and it still rocked). I can see someone getting less than 1:27 easily if Cass would just cooperate perfectly. That is for when I get a VCR though. Are you getting your times on tape right now? I think you should get some on, and so should I.

I finally beat Extraction A. Only Attack Ship A left. It is surprisingly hard even on Agent... Elvis has died every time so far, and the skedar seem to be invincible sometimes ( shoot them dead on with a rocket and they don't die for sure.. I don't understand it.). A very very hard level...

Start 'right before/just when' the cutscene switches to first person(guard's) view. Activate the maintnance hatch, go to 'secret door,' the bot should 'be just opening/have opened' the door. Complete Obj 2. Go out the door and up the ramp.

While on lift, get camspy into 'you won't fail the mission' position, aka next to the 1st door leading to obj 1. Whip out your k7. Shut down first experiment. Note: You need to get a good computer setup or you'll miss the lasers. Good Comp Setup= first computer you go to.
Luck/Skill: You need to kill most of the guys(w/o stopping) after the first experiment, not only for life but for: reduced lag, so they won't shoot you and push you back, and so they won't get in your way. If you don't kill many guys but make it through okay then that's okay. *Note: The k7 makes it easy to kill the guys.
Do all the other stuff that you need to kill(completing obj's, etc) before the lasers, which you should know how to do. *Note(If you didn't know): On the 3rd computer, with the sneaky scientist, shut down the experiment from the back side of the computer. Not only is it faster than going around, but there's also less lag, because there's less time you're looking at the other scientist('s room).
Now, when you enter the laser section ignore the guys and just Run. Also, if the 2nd door isn't open then you missed the lasers. If you make it through the first laser, you can continue running through past the 2nd laser as it will drop for you, so the guys you ignored won't do much to you. I never saw the 1st laser drop, so I would have to say that the time when you pass the first would be around the low 1:50's.
After the lasers finish the level as fast or slow as you want/need.

anyways, i gave an ER level a shot the other day
it was villa on A, i almost had under 1:30 but it was pretty damn hard...i think i could do it, but who knows...im gonna go play now, and well. i dunno.
INvest PA is hard as hell to make the first lasers. i flew through the beginning, not even getting hit that much, got both good computers, and everything..and i just missed the lasers. you have to be damn good to get under 3:30. i dont know...can it be done with the second lasers? i always have to wait like 30+ seconds before the bot comes back and it is a looong time.

i got rescue PA 4:06 which takes like 40 seconds off my time (49 actually) and i forgot to post it on my website...didnt know, until i saw it on the rivalry page is 4:55 and then checked the-elite just now and realized it was still 4:55 so i guess i better change that

took me 4 turns just to get a damn 2:25 invest. sa!
and i couldnt even get under 1:10 on g5 sa...
well i did get a PR and a new RR which took about 3 turns.
villa SA: 1:34
which means if you are keeping track, that rescue PA brings PA under the next minute (and total time...)
and the villa sa just barely breaks the 42 mark for SA (41:59!)
and well the Agent times are sitting peacefully at 29 even. maybe i should do an easy level and break that. im looking at villa...gonna do that now.

well, looks like my skills are picking back up. i returned to CI SA where i was getting somewhat good. my previous best was a 1:36 that i died on at the last second at late 1:35 (maybe it could have been 1:35, carrington was done with his first line, and i was in room but i had full red and i got shot by someone from out of no where)
well i had some better runs, that should be around 1:34 or so, but havent completed any because of gay hostages. (1:34 assuming the end goes well...)
anyways, i did manage another RR,
CI SA: 1:38
maybe time for PA on that level, i feel like owning another level. we will see. or actually i better try an Agent time, i never did get any up last night to break 29 like i said...

ok, on the villa pA run: i was at the very end, and i ran out of bullets on the last guy, so i had to grab some and reload...shoulda been a few seconds faster...
and your probably looking at the exctraction times and saying WTF? well, i started the game off with exctraction SA, and it took like 25 turns to get (i had some 1:45s or so, missing the rocket of course...) and after i got it i was like @#%$ yes, then i tried it on PA...and got 1:48 in 3 turns! then i tried villa afterwords...got that time in 3 tries too...then i turned PD off, cuz i knew i was gonna have some bad luck soon.

2. NSPD, most people find that when you take a break form PD you do not lose your skills. It is actually a good thing to not play for a while because you often get stuck in a rut where you are consistantly making the same mistakes. To have a break means that you then take a different perspective on the level and often end up improving to times that you didn't know you could achieve.
3. Fal stay the hell away from Blast Corps, you know I would own you on that more than I did on PD.

well i had tied with 1:56, but i guess i can drop you guys 6 seconds and have it to myself. i had a failed 1:46. man i was pissed...but thats ok. 1:50 is great...80 points does me some good. (when i started today with 1:57, i only had 69 points...gained 21 on that level today...)
umm yea so, i think my skills are better. and now i can actually play goldneye for like 2 hours straight and switch to PD and not even be affected like i was before. pretty cool.

but it's really not that hard...the only problems that come up often are:missing a hacker
not killing all snipers
dying (only place you usually die is after eliminating the last 2 hackers, then you run down hallway, and down the stairs. that place is dangerous)
but i beat the whole level in 1:59. with full health. not a single shot, punch, anything, full health! i was like damn.
btw, if i manage a 1:15 or better on A, i should be on the leaderboard for that level...damn i wish i could. i better get that, but i suck at the snipe so it takes me forever to get a good run.

damnit. i missed the lift by about 6 seconds i think...so it was quite a wait, but it wasnt all the way up. if i make it, it will be an easy sub 1:50. i out of lift #1 with red health, and i booked it up the ramp and right passed everyone, getting shot 1 time...kinda scary, with like 3 more shots til your dead, and having to wait for the lift. then i got in at (1:36?) i think and then i got shot going out by the second guy after i just passed him. ohh well. im done with this time someone passes me.

i havent seen any from you guys in a while...i been getting some untieds, but lately i just been trying to lower my stupid 4 minutes times (infil/invest pa, you know..those gay ones...)
but when i get a chance i throw some other levels in and pick up a few...i intend on beating the attack ship A record soon, and if elvis didnt die on SA, i would get that one too, but i think i did find a somewhat consistent way of making him survive, losing about 10 seconds, so i think i can get 3:10 (or less) or so. come on guys...when i get my new controller, i should be getting even more PRs, since the one i have now sucks. if you guys dont start posting, im going to end up back in GE where i suck, which means i will be playing there a lot more then PD since i need way more improving there..

NSPD, I don't suck in the very least. I just barely play at all. Especially recently. I could have way more records if I spent all of my precious free time playing Perfect Dark. but that time broke my goal today...i passed the 40 minute mark on SA (sitting nicely at 39:51...) and it passed the 2:01:00 mark, im sitting at 2:00:52
pretty good...but i think i did good in SA today...i dropped like 40 seconds without any trouble...i was gonna play CI PA but i left, i was doing that level cakestyle...maybe i can get under 2 minutes, who knows.
stuck in stupid 43rd in time...i have like 54 seconds or so before i catch the next person. dunno what level im gonna pull that off in...maybe ruins might drop a few off (like 15 i hope) and even might drop off like 20 in CI PA (at least 10 i hope).
and i wish i knew how to do maian SOS SA. i cant get the lifts right....i wanna catch both, i would easily get under 2:07

good luck on WRs NSPD. The only level I have a chance on them is MBR SA, and PA. Maybe A, but 1:25 is better than 1:29 and 1:33 for the other two difficulties. Karl should be able to get at least 1:26 for SA, and 1:29 for PA, but he isn't. If I ever do go for them, I think I will wait until Karl quits playing, then I can cuss Cass out endlessly some more. I know that if I get them now Karl will go and play and I'll never have a chance again...

It's just wishful thinking. I'd be happy with 1:37 or less for PA, and 1:28 or less for A. PA I know is possible. I had a 1:36 run, but Cass ran in a circle below the steps and it turned out to be another damn 1:39 which was totally useless. I even missed both speech skips in that one too, so faster should be possible for me. I can skip at least one speech about 90% of the time and both about 10% of the time. I don't understand why I have to have good runs when I DONT skip them for PA...? Just bad luck I guess. Or not? I also think I know how to get Cass to be fast almost all of the time. If it isn't in my head that is. I might share how if I confirm it.
alright, I better quit typing. Nobody wants to read all of that anyway, and I don't even have a new PR. ::slaps himself:: I'm going out with my girlfriend at 5:45 tonight, so I won't even touch the controller. Hmm. whatever. I am going to improve my MBR PA if it takes me 3 hours. I am worried about NSPD getting that RR cause it is definetely the easiest of my 3 MBR times.

I don't play this game very much, and I like being in this rivalry and stuff, but I am no match for people like NSPD who play all the time (I'm guessing since he gets new PRs about every single day). I was just thinking that if any players in this rivalry get into the top 30, they should be taken out cause they need to give the other people a chance. If NSPD keeps it up, it won't be very long either. Just a thought.

ok...i dont play all the time anymore. if i do, its less than 30 minutes a day...i play PS2 a lot. if you notice now, my PRs come 1 at a time usually. thats because when i get bored of FFX, i usually throw my 64 in and get a quick PR, then go back to PS2. on a rare occasion, i might even pick up a few more. but the other day, i actually played more than an hour, to get 26 war, which was crap because i had plenty of 26's that i messed up (late king shot/missed...and believe me, when you go flying through like that and turn the corner to see like 22/23 timer, your like whoa and it kinda does make you get a little nervous...)
ohh well. i might play some CI today. SA/PA only though, im bored of A. although i can see 54 or so soon, i dont like it on Agent...

and iggy its the truth. i dont play. i turn off PS2, put it in, look at a level i think i can improve...then i play until i improve it (depending on which level..usually under 5 tries...) then i put PS2 back in.. which is why i dont have many new PRs lately. my latest thing that i really spent a good amount of time on was war. which wasnt even very long, considering i started at 7 in the morning and was done by 8. then it was PS2

I have been playing PD a lot of times this week as i am not going into 2003, and not being in the 5 minute club. The levels that i have left to do are(all on Perfect Agent):
Maian SOS (Easy)
Rescue (Medium) - I can do this one, i nearly did it last night but died.
Escape (Hard)
Deep Sea (Medium)
Attack Ship (Hard).
I played Rescue a lot last night, and almost all my runs if finished would've got me a sub 5 min time but those damn guards kill me. lol. Anyways expect me to post a new PR within the next few days.

we can all get any world record if we put enough effort. excext maian sos and the deep seas. i mean, im sure even i can get the MBR records, but i dont have patients, except every once in a while, on gay levels like Attack ship...which is why im good at that level. (somewhat...) except A/SA but PA = cake < 4:00.

deep sea is pretty easy, i would go for that..its a pain in the ass at the start, but if you get a decent 1:15 elvis at least and book it through the rest, and shoot the things with your farsight from afar, you can save lots of time, and should easily get under 5:00, maybe even 4:00. Attack ship has to be the hardest of those...and i think rescue is harder than escape, thats just my opinion...well, good luck on those. i remember i just needed to get < 5:00 on deep sea SA to get in
of course it was hard because i suck at that level for some gay reason. ok enough talkin im out

and not in last place either. My times are worth 91 - 91 - 89 points. In that order. And 1:39 PA is really really gay. I watched my tape for it and I am sure that 1:29 is possible for PA (1:33 is the WR).
EDIT: And NSPD, MBR is not really much for patience unless you are going for the WR. I mean, I got 1:35 SA about 3 times in a row once. I messed up in different ways each time though. I usually played the level for 20 minutes each day. If I play longer than that on one level I just start to get annoyed and can't get crap on it.

MBR A - 1:28 (this was to be a 1:24 or better. I know that sounds too good to be true or some @#%$, but I was at the bottom of the last ramp at 1:20. If the bitch didn't talk right there (and run in a damn circle) I would have beaten karl's fuckin time and maybe Lecmasta or something when he takes all 3 records.)
The irony DRIVES ME INSANE... I think I'll stop thinking about it. lol. Eh, at least I think I'll be safe on the leaderboard for a while.

anyways, so like umm...yea...im gonna play some today, i have a few hours to spare. i guess my goal is to hit 39:59 atleast on SA...that means i got 32 more seconds to knock off somehow. and i only have 6 levels on SA that are under 50 points...so i think those can be raised the most...(deep sea SA : 4:58 !? gay! Skedar ruins SA: 2:05! just as gay! attack ship SA: 3:22! very gay also)
