Is it just me, or was that done on a PAL console?

NTSC consoles have the words in the intro text underneath each other (eg. Paragon's vid).
PAL consoles have the words in the intro text beside each other (eg. Karl's vid).

Bryan's vid should be NTSC, but the words are beside each other. Why is this?

I think the text underneath each other is only for "The Duel" and "Opponent Skill Level: Agent" anyway, since for SA/PA in Ben's vid the text was on 1 line like normally too, which looks much better too.

Yes Wouter, that's true. Only "The Duel" and "Opponent Skill Level: Agent" are different in PAL/NTSC.

This is certainly not true, unless he has a PAL version where the elevators are as fast as the NTSC elevators.

Well, I don't know if this is the reason, but on challenge 7 with 3 players, the game will usually freeze up.  I think I have a different NTSC version than the majority since I have one of the games that were released on the very first day.  The music should sound different than PAL music too.  This could also be why I can't get a good bot on Invest A...

Ngamer would have had trouble capturing it if I did Duel PA on PAL. :p   I like the all on 1 line better anyways.

I tested mine out and the words are like paragon's vid.  I think I have a newer version though.

I got killed by the first guy too.  :lol

Well, you should see which version you have; it should tell at the second screen (first = copyright at the bottom and that's it...)  It should be the 3rd down on the list, I'm sure you can figure it out anyways.
Mine says NTSC version 8.7 final or something.
