Now, before you begin to dismiss this as an April Fool's Joke, I'm going to tell you right now that this is 100% for real. You may or may not have noticed that my sig changed dramatically a week ago. You may also notice how it quickly changed back. Why? I didn't want to tip anyone off, and it seems I was successful in keeping the secret.
I know I told a few of you (you know who you are) that it was all a joke, but I wanted to give people a sense of relief for a little bit. "Oh, it's just a joke, we'll be fine on April 2nd." Not likely. This was all planned out ahead of time. It's no coincidence or joke...this day was picked specifically for the reason that everyone would assume it was. Frankly, I was getting nervous as people were asking me about it and talking about it day. It especially bothers me that some people are trying to take credit for my marvelous ruination of what was once a mighty system. I urge you now to look at the very bottom of this page (or any page for that matter). You may think that because that was there that this was all a joke. It's not.
You've probably also noticed that several posts have been edited by Ngamer and PDO or deleted altogether. Ha ha. That was me too. I hacked their accounts, and after trying, in vain, to close and/or delete them, I just decided to have fun and edit some posts.
The number one question on your mind has to be, "Why?" If it's not, then you must not really care about the Elite and all it's done for you. You see, way back in the summer of 2000, I was actually in the Elite, competing marrily for new times and a possible WR. But something happened that changed my life in a deep and profound way: I found out that it was possible to take advantage of Snap's amazing auto-updating program to manipulate the rankings page. This gave me my first taste of hackage. Sure, it wasn't me who did it, but I knew it could be done. The seeds of "t3hL337h4x0r" were planted.
I was the 18th member of the PDE. We were a very small group at the time. Octo joined next and I thought, "Alright, fresh competetion," but his skills were greater than mine, and soon I was pushed back to the bottom of the heap, once again. I had had enough. I was sick of being the lowest of the Elite so I decided the best thing to do would be to bow out gracefully. The founding fathers had other plans.
"Nobody leaves the Elite. Nobody," came one staunch reply. "Screw that @#%$," I muttered. Time for decisive action, something that will ensure my removal from the Elite. Time for Operation: @#%$ Over Elite.
I was extremely bitter over this rejection of my peaceful removal of the Elite, so I took the most drastic step almost immediately. I was flamed for it, yes, which is understandable, but it got me what I wanted so I didn't care about anything else.
A long story so far, yes, but it's just part of this saga. What you need to understand is, that even though it's 2 1/2 years since doing that, I still get no respect from anybody. Not a word I say has any bearing at all. You may have noticed this in the war topic in General Chat. I know it isn't Snap's fault for being so damn smart and influencial, but most of his ideas were just expansions (very well written ones, btw) on my own ideas. Well, suddenly it's like a lightbulb goes on in everyone's head and it's just like "Whooooaaaaa, Snap's right." "Hey...check this out. This Food fellow doesn't know what he's talking about." This isn't the only time, but it is the most recent.
Through the years, I had tried to sneak in (unsuccessful some times, successful others. Remember Deadly Falcon? That was me) to hide my identity so I could see how I stacked up against the greats. Not having any school for the last seven months, I've been able to play a lot and I racked up some good times. Then about three weeks ago, I created t3hL337hax0r. I got in and nobody believed my times, so I left and made proof for myself. I came back in about a week with three videos: CS PA, MBR PA, and War A.
I don't know why nobody believed the videos. I thought it to be completely ridiculous to dismiss three perfectly fine video proofs of two fairly difficult levels and an average run of War with an amusing cartoon in the beginning. I admit the MBR vid a little strange at times, but it still clearly shows a WR being attained. I had finally done it. I had two records. After two and half years of practice, and seven months of hard work, I had two records to call my own, and you all spit on them and reject them and call me a liar. Screw you all.
I'm sick of the lack of respect one of the oldest members of this community is receiving. I'm not letting someone take credit for that which is rightfully mine. The list of demands I sent to Youse is for real. I will not relinquish the site back to Youse and Ngamer until each and every demand is met. I don't appreciate them being called BS! They are all valid demands and I expect them to be fulfilled completely. Then, and only then, will you have your "precious" site back.
I hacked the Elite. I did it. It's my proudest achievement here. Sweeter tasting, even, than any world record I could ever hope to have shown on the rankings. You can't take this away from me. I win. Just like they say, "So the last will be first, and the first will be last."

BTW, if this message gets edited I will never speak to another elite member again unless they are australian, so if this is april fools, which it obviously is, don't edit or you will regret it later.

man, you just don't get it. you know what--how about giving us our site and boards back and going away if you feel so disrespected. Just go away--if you don't want to talk to us we don't want to talk to you. You basically took the boards hostage and for what? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Except to piss off an entire community of people who at one time whether you believe it or not did respect you.
