Back at PDark.com, I was just starting to get good. My ability was shown through in certain levels, yet some stayed bleak with weak times. My first of many horrible actions that I've taken would be when I was unable, yes...unable to beat Perfect Agent. I bought a GameShark just for the sole purpose of beating Attack Ship PA. I never touched that GameShark for some time later...
Compitition started growing, proof was starting to be issued for many, including DarkLight. He sent about 6 or 7 tapes to me so I could capture them. I have to admit, he was an awesome player. He vids were more than unbelievable. When it was time for me to show proof of some runs, I said I had a capture card, when in fact, I did not. I took some of DarkLight's runs. I compressed, brightened, darkened, and whatever I needed to make my vids look different than those from DarkLight. Of course I didn't use his runs that were online, but some that were below his PR that no one has seen before are the ones I used. The first level this was for was SOS SA...
Things started to turn downhill from then on. How you ask? Well, as a note of how many vids of mine are actually of my pr's is a good question. A very small amount, maybe 7 at most, shows my fastest times on my times page. I have lied about all my other times on this game. Name a level that I don't have a vid of my pr for...its fake. I don't know why I even started doing this.
I felt that I would get away with all this because people have seen most of my accomplishments in other games and figured it would follow in the sense of "How could a founding father lie?". I tried and tried to keep my rank above 5th place for as long as I could, but when times came to be so good and so out of my reach that actually attempting to make a vid would become impossible, so I "sold" my system. Thats right, "sold".
How could someone give something away that was such a big part of their life in the first place? I gave 19 days into this game, why the hell should I give all of it away? Well, everyone believed me, as I knew they would. You've always believed me. I planned everything out perfectly. I would sell my system fast enough so that no proof could be issued for my PD times. That was all off my back, until now.
Its been eating away at me for so long. And especially this situation with Plum in TS2 basically knawed at my feet the whole time. Knowing in the back of my mind that I too, am lying about my times. Although I stay true to all my scores on all the games I have played, PD is where I don't hold true.
I have let everyone down. I have let my friends down. I have let myself down.
I don't know what to say any more except that I'm sorry. Please take my times down...for good.

I guess in retrospect, it was a little weird to see him sell not only his N64, but also all of those games he had put so many hours into, along with the "times" contained on them... I remember me and Snap tried hard to convince him it was a bad idea, but we didn't know the real situation.

This is worse than just screwing with the rankings for a few hours...this was 3 whole damn years!!! Well, you just lost my respect. I am frightened by this.....just how many players out there are b/s?? I had always had 100% faith in all the top 10 players, on both games. It worries me a lot, because if Expert would lie in this manner, why would you believe a top 10 GE player who has only taped 4 or 5 of his current times, hmmn...
PLUM: seen as you lied about times (even if it was only one), you have NO right to flame Expert at all. And for the record, i now trust Tyler and Dan. I was stupid for what i said about them. Although, where the F.UCK are they gonna send their tapes now?
EXPERT: A bit of history.....we both joined the GE elite at the same time, October 31 2000. You were 16th, i was 19th. At this point, were all your GE times b/s? In my own mind, you were my MAIN n00b rival at this time, and if you were lying there all along as well, i am very dissapointed. What do you have to say?

I didn't do anything but tape it while he was playing, and he doesn't even know. Who cares anyway, not like there's anyway to know if the person who claims the times really got them, all the vids really do is tell the legitness of the time, not tell who got it. There's like no way to proof that unless you get someone to tape you playing in front of the tv, with the run still clearly visible aswell or something.

I think it was harv that asked about GE. Well, like I said in my post above, I only lied about PD. I have never lied about GE or any other game that I've competed in.

haha, imagine this....graham gets a PR taped. he plays it back, whilst i am stitting with a controller in my hand, being filmed. I could easily simulate the correct movements. So that would also be non-concrete proof

I suppose some good has come out of it.. like he's motivated you to do better in your own scores, helped with the websites and whatnot, possibly invented strategies..
