Shade is now ranked second with the addition of all his times.  He makes his times look so easy.  Half of his posts from insane WRs!  Every couple of days he posts a new WR to blow us away. Now all of his hard work has paid off.  He is officially the best sole-system player(NTSC) and is ahead of most of the top dual sytem players.  He second only the Karl Jobst and once he obtains a PAL cartridge I'm sure he will not stop at anything less than total domination.  So Shade, congradulations on such an achievement!

A couple more things...

-1:39:00 broken...

-He is only 2 seconds away from Phil who has quite the PAL advantage.

And uh, all we need to do now is get Josh proven and we've got ourselves an elite.:b

About Josh... it would be great he would provide vids since he can do them at will... he sure has some insane PA times.

I was just thinking the exact same thing J3, I thinkas an Elite we need world record proof of the highest order. Of course I have to congratulate Shade, that is assuming that his proof tape has already arrived, which I believe it may have.

Yeah I agree, PAL does have an advantage when you look at time and what we know strategically of the levels involving elevators. Of course, in time, the advantage could always shift to NTSC systems, assuming that new strategies and lift timings are discovered.

Of course, when you look at points things are very different. The rankings now have so many popular NTSC times, particularly on stages such as CI, times that are not possible with a PAL system. Add together all NTSC points and you are pretty certain to find that PAL players are handicapped significantly.

Anyway, good job to shade who will pass me in time anytime soon now. Of course, when he uses PAL times in the world rankings I will once again be the worlds best solo player technically :p

Shade didn't get his tape in yet.  He was merely added on the condition that it must arrive within one month.  Or so I was told.

I don't doubt him but I believe in providing proof, no matter how convincing the person is.  Butanyway, congrats shade.  Must be nice to actually see yourself up there for once.  If you get PAL, then passing Karl should be easily done within a few hours.  sos A, DS A/SA alone should be about a 100+ easy points.  Hmm

no worries people... I'm not trying to sneak in and getting away with it. I'm not hiding from anyone that I'm waiting PAL before I send my tape, so that way I'll be 1st the first update after arriving. Youse just informed me of the 1month warning, which I found totally fair and that'll do everything possible to respect it. Which I'll do, no matter if PAL has arrived or not... A tape filled with my recent WRs will arrive. And Yeah it does feel good to finally see my name where it should be.  This little issue puts a lot of heat on Youse shoulders... if the elite's people want me to reupdate my page down I'll do so until my tape. Youse said its ok... up to you people.

what shade's done for all this years just dont need explanation.. yea i remember our old Fly Rivalry days, with Fro, Xturnal, etc.. that was the time i was ahead of him. then he passed me.. and i'll never pass him again. the guy is just a legend, and not mentioning how such a cool guy he is. for this 1 and 1/2 year i've talked to a LOT of ppl, but the only one who i never lost contact was shade. always calling me "slow lame unprecise and unlucky but sexy", helping at everything i asked about pd... i just love this guy ;)  

and shade, own karl's ass, compilate ur tape, make a copy, send it to a mod, and then send the original one to ur brazilian buddy over here :lol   j/k.. just do whatever u want as long as i can see ur god-like runs, on my vcr or not.

it seems like only yesterday when i was braggin about gettin a RR which beat ur times, and how i was gonna get into the top 20 before u and all!
