Haven't visited since mid 2001, was browsing through www.archive.org and found my old PDElite times on my ooold site and figured I'd track this forum down to say hello.

So... Hello to you all! :D

anyway, good to see an old face, i remember you got accused of cheating once back in the day, cuz u had some pa time faster than ur sa time or something like that.. not sure if u were here to see it or not lol.

Yeah.  I remember you.  At first I thought you were the guy who claimed :5 Defection Agent haha.
Yeah.  You sort of missed the PDE action big time.  There was the Snap period when the 1337 was made, then Paragon and marsh, then Paragon (for almost the entire existance of the elite) (sometime towards the end of this you joined and then you 'left' just before...), Phil Hughes pwned with 1 system, Disco released his whoarded times and took over, Karl sort of.... took PD by the ears and shot it in the face in his 1 month from 20th to 1st, then he quit and it's sort of in this post everything time now where a handful of people are playing (including some top players) but things are kind of slow.  And that's the entire history of the elite in a couple of sentences.

Nice to see that I'm remembered by some :D  (It's always nice to make a little mark in history IMO.)
And yes, I know I was acused of cheating but I think that was sorted out (wasn't it? :lol  ). Got one WR back in the day too! not sure if it's still IS one though, The Duel, Agent, 0:03 secs. I think I managed 8 or 7 seconds on the first level aswell but that was after I stopped updating my times..


When PD0 gets here, will the elite come back in full force on the Xbox? or were most members nintendo-ies? :D  
Having a Xbox I can wait 'til it gets here.. in 2007.

PD0 will never get here. Not in our lifetimes, anyway.

Rare sucks. They went completely downhill after Conker's Bad Fur Day. They've done nothing worthwhile since then.

It is a mystery.  What has happened to Rare to make them go downhill so fast.  I didn't know one single game they'd made since Conker's (I know Starfox now...).  coughmicrosoftcoughrapecough

Well, the best programmers from Rare went over to Free Radical Design, so that's most certainly the reason for Rare's dramatic decline in quality. It's good though that Free Radical is here so we still get them good games (ex. Timesplitters 2) too. :)
