Maybe this is an already discussed question, but I'm quite new here and not sure about the answer. I watched Ryan White's Frigate SA 1.02, it didn't had an ending cinema, the best time wasn't saved, but the missoin was completed...Is that a legit WR???

And can this happen on PAL too? I played Facility on ntsc and I got this phenomenon twice...It has never happend to me on pal...

if it says completed and it saves the time as best time, then it's legit, for all we know it didn't save the time simply because some cheat was on that the game knows of, but the player didn't (or did too).

Legit imo.

Maybe not too much work to make a photo of the ending screen when you just start the level and abort it immediately, so it says the best time there?

Not that it relates to Ryans 1:02, but if you abort early on Caverns A, it says completed with no end cinema, just because all the requirements have been fulfilled (but didn't reach the end). Of course in this case, the time doesn't get saved.

on caverns it does say that the mission was either aborted or failed(i can't remember which)

Well end cinema isn't required on all levels, on Statue no one gets the end cinema with the strat we use but still it saves the best time.

I've always thought it's important that the best time is saved, it confirms the new record basically and I thought we brought this to and conclution with Bryan having to get 37 until it saved the best time.

Bryan had elected to remove 37 himself because the time didn't save. I don't recall if there was ever a final conclusion agreed upon, but opinions are split throughout the Elite.
