I've had a lot of my videos on YouTube now for a couple months and I think more of you guys should get in on this. I'm sure a few already have. It's real easy, make an account and make a channel with only your Goldeneye vids.

I think this would be a really good way to largely increase the number out there who know about us, and prolly in turn get some new players and competition out of it. On all my descriptions for my vids I post the level, time, its approximate ranking (mention if it's a world record) and the URL for the Goldeneye rankings page. Post the URL (or message boards URL, or whatever) so anyone who's either intrigued, skeptical, or whatever can go check us out. Also put "Goldeneye 007" for the tags so your vids easily come up in any search for N64 Goldeneye stuff. My channel is located HERE if you want to see how I post this stuff. Also you can read all the good comments I have gotten. Most of the ppl are amazed at the stuff and clearly oblivious to how serious we play and that there is actually competition between a bunch of us. Then again there are also the idiots who make comments like "clearly you used turbo" or "i don't think that's the WR" :lol

. Also anytime I mention what the actual WR is (if it's not mine) then I'll post a link to thengamer so they can see the WR run and more vids as well.

I think all of you guys with a lot of vids up should upload them onto YouTube and hopefully we'll get some expansion for The Elite.

For a good laugh, here's some of the best/funniest/most pathetic comments I've gotten,

yet, youtube sucks, and I wouldn't want my vids to look like @#%$ and not even being able to get them directly from where they found it in their right format.

I agree with youtube sucking. The only advantage is you can post vids from there as an item on facebook and all my friends can see my total pwnage of some GE level (which I did for Silo 1:30) Tbh I don't really care if n00bs who don't care at all about GE, or people who aren't my friends, watch GE vids. If it means nothing to them, so be it.

I've posted my Chicago 15 vid, and I got a comment saying "lol it was 20 seconds". People are retarded. Still, you should post the videos there, at least the WR ones.

Actually, this seems as good a place as any to ask this question.

I've noticed in several Streets videos that right before you get to Valentin, you pause at the right wall for half a second, and then go into the room

What does this accomplish?

We do that to get his attention. Once his attention is gotten it doesn't matter what you do as long as you stay in his range.

Well it may suck and people are pretty dumb but the point would be to increase exposure for The Elite.

I've also noticed Bryan's Aztec 1:36 claimed by someone else. At least I think it's his, when I saw it it looked extremely familiar. Hmm, now I can't find it anymore, else I'd post the link...

I thought it was zerg just posting videos on youtube for people to watch without actually claiming them. Guess not.

I do find it odd that regardless of the video, they all have Wouter's 00 Speedrun comment attached to them depending on the level. That's funny.
