Nice job, Illu. Judging by the music that run seemed like barelllly 46 speed. In fact with the same pace up to the decoder door I usually get 47. But I do the mine boost on the stairs strat... is it faster just to warp that door?

I think it's definitely faster to warp the last door if you do it well enough, well 0.2 sec or so at least, and that was definitely just barely 46. I had a similar run before, just this time I think my exit timing was about as good as it gets.

thats a good idea and i thought of it and tried it, hard to do though.

Anyway about the 1:03:

- Snipered the KF7 guard, seems much more consistent.

- Watched 2nd cinema but skipped first.

- Um, average run, i mean the speed up to the locks wasnt my fastest but was decent, however the locks were AMAZING. instant kill on each one. I knew i had it when i jumped into the bunker.

I think 1:03 > 2:19 . I mean come on, 1:03 has been around for ages and people are already tying statue. statue is the easiest level ever, 2:23 took me like 30 minutes for SA/OOA and havent touched it since. Just master strafing and a simple val shot and the wr is yours with a boost. Sometimes even no boost. I dunno, but thats just my opinion.

Statue CAN be 2:18, definitely. But don't start making statements about what it SHOULD be unless you're one of the players good enough on that level to push those limits.

well I just figure, if you can get 5 boosts and you can get 2:19 with no boosts, then three boosts should be enough.

Doesn't mean it's easy tho. I get 3 boosts and my nerves freeze up cuz that gets me thinking 2:18. Nor is it even common at all to get 3:0 runs, in fact I should say it's extremely rare.

The fact that the GE Elite has a combined 85 (approximately) 2:19 fail or completions but not a SINGLE 2:18 should be enough to tell you how hard it is.

Look, it's like this, you need to just trust me. I know you're getting really good and will prolly be top 10 one day, but you're no better than average at Statue. It would be like me telling you that you were doing the S2 Agent mine throw wrong. :lol

No, thats different because all i am saying is that 2:18 is POSSIBLE with 3 boosts. the mine throw is skill, boosts are pure luck. You are one of the best statue players, if not the best as of this moment. I mean 2:19 with no boosts is pretty damn sick and ive never seen anyone strafe valentine quite as well as you. 2:19 isnt bad i mean yeha its a good time, but its been tied pretty quickly and i think 2:18 will happen eventually.

2:19 is almost perfect for now, 2:18 would be pretty much human max as it looks now. Statue is pretty simple but it's also one of the levels that is closest to it's max.

Nah, it's not even close to max. 2:18 will happen very soon, and at least 2:17 will happen one day. It's a big level, with a lot of boosts possibilities, and there's also room for other little strats, which are yet to be discovered.
