First of all, blaming your sucky times on 1.1/1.2 diffrences is VERY noobish, if 1.2 pwns then use 1.2 for gods sake.

And PAL/NTSC diffrences on Train are only theoretical. I've done 1:09 ntsc when i was BARELY trying(so yeah, i could easily get 1:07).

Oh and 1:12 1.1 ntsc is crap, It's probably comparable with a 1:12 PAL, which i got yesterday on Secret Agent after deciding to end the level Agent-way cause it was my crappiest run ever(used 1.2 though, that's probably 7 seconds gained

)

If I played 1.2 on train I would be lucky to break 1:40 agent whereas on 1.1 it's not such a disadvantage. This is mostly why us 1.1ers stick with 1.1, its just overall easier than changing, eventhough there is still a disadvantage.

Same goes for all levels no? I don't know a single level where a PAL/NTSC difference has actually been proven.

I actually never said PAL was disadvantaged, i only said it's only theoreticly advantaged on Train. And diffrences on like Archives/Streets/Runway are incredibly obvious if you have both versions(if PAL wasn't disadvantaged than why would all PAL'ers buy ntsc but no ntsc'ers buy PAL?) so yeah, it's pretty much proven.

And everyone who's changed to 1.2 sucked at it at first, Eventually it'll get easy, probably even easier than 1.1.

Once I thought I would play 1.1 forever. Then I tried to play with 1.2, and noticed it was much more easier and confortable to play. Within 1 month or so I was at 90% of 1.2 control, only had problems pressing A while strafing. After a while I learned that, and now my skill with 1.2 is so much better than it was with 1.1.

I'd suggest to all 1.1 players to change to 1.2 ASAP. Even if it takes a while (thus you won't PR'ing on that time), it's worthy.

I cant believe it myself...this is my runway night

Randomly throwed the nade into the air...and what...didnt even see it complete...I didnt even notice that the cinema was running...then I saw all completes... I was like :eek

I knew it was a good run (for me) and clicked A and yes...the four after the two was there

How long would you say it took you to change to 1.2? I'm thinking about switching, but it seems like a shame to waste the time i've spent getting good at 1.1...

That only works on some levels though. You need to stay still or go backwards at some point in most levels.

actually I could CC almost every level quite well. but of course it makes things harder eventually. Frigate Agent I could manage 0:26 still. haven't used CC in ages tho

the best way to switch to 1.2 if your having trouble is to force yourself to use it(while playing on agent or secret agent if it's hard at first) eventually you get used to it and it becomes overall much easier to use than 1.1, it was that way for me atleast.

I'm very happy with this. I probably got 2 or 3 nades on the previous runs. So in total, there were probably 4 nades drawn in a half hour or so. That's @#%$ lucky.

I've had back to back nades before, happen on my 56 complete.
I've also almost had 3 grenades from the first 3 guards, i got 2 of the nades, but i killed the last 2 guards in the wrong order missing the 3rd nade. I smell a good 00 strat if you get 2.
