Hey alex, ive seen your :25 vid for bunker 2, and since youve had like 100 of these i thought Id offer a word of advice. A trick i thought of was to switch to 1.2 before you start the level, then when you pause for the magnet switch back to 1.1 this way you can have the faster pause like bryan does. For the tape room, try going in with left strafe and exiting with right. this saves time while turning around. Everything else was pretty good. hope for a boost towards the exit door and you should get 24 with this strat pretty quickly.

Yeah no @#%$. Does that mean i cant offer advice? I thought the 1.2 switch to 1.1 was actually a really good idea. And i wasnt sure why he spun around in a circle in the tape room. I am just saying, ya know? Just because I'm not in the top 10 shouldnt descredit my imput.

if you switch 1.2 to 1.1 you get a lot of lag I mean a lot. It wouldn't help. Alex is already using a better slap method which gains that time back anyways.

ok, also that 25 was probably a 25 where he was trying to get 25 and not 25. The spin crap you said was like, well that gets 25 and not 24. 24 is just really luck oriented with the keycard guard and stuff so its easy to get many 25s by using the right strat but 24 is a different strat and its really good OK

First of all you know jackFUCKINGSHIT about bunker 2

it had to be said. The keycard guard can only be at the stairs within a certain limit of time. If u do the tape room full speed and leave full speed, he cant be there ever. 0%

watch bryans 24. he leaves at 80% speed and gets the best possible keyguard as a result, with doing a great tape room (one of the fastest u can do and still have the best keyguard)

Pausing at the start and switching doesnt save time as the game increases in lag and evens out.

My slap is faster then bryans, I ran the vids side by side, any time he gains with the 1.2 pause, I gain back slapping the guard, putting us on even pace.

24 is one of the better agent WRs, I should just play pure 1.2 to get it but im stubborn

Edit: You probly watched my First 25, I have 40 others on video, and over 100 not on video probly. I have tried many different strats, and also I thought the 1.2 pause thing over a year ago when I first starting going for it.

Edit2: Sorry the post is a bit harsh, but it remains true. Don't provide innaccurate input when you don't know what your talking about. suggestions are welcome but don't try to state them as facts or that they are new ideas never before thought of.

I also have a shitload of 25s, using the same strat Alex does (though on 1.2). I think I was actually the first person who started doing the tape room right strafe first, then left. I did that because yeah, if you do absolutely full speed for the tape room you can't get a great key guard, so the extra strafe change I threw in gives the key guard extra time. Also, tape rooms are cleaner if you do right first, then left... it's easier to avoid getting stuck on guards.

I always thought the right/left strafe thing was to get a more consistent/faster Key guard since you don't look in his direction?

Or does anyone know if looking at him/not looking at him has any affect on his speed?(which it should).

Statue SA 2:20 VID

Very good run, except for the tail end of the return, where I ran into the back of that guard who likes to block your path making that left turn, and then I got too close to the helicopter and got periodically stuck on that before starting the proximity timer, resulting in a 2:34.20 return

That must be the worst ever for a 2:20 :lol

Without these stucks likely would've been 2:35.00 and maybe a 2:19 cuz judging by the end music I got about a 2:20.85. Oh well, maybe I'll beat Jimmy to it on 00A

Well Bryan has shown he's the best at statue, I think it's quite obvious after his many 2:19 fails, on those he was pretty unlycky non of them completed. Though 2:18 would be sick yeah, well you'd need a really fast Trev shot and fastest recovery ofcourse, rightstrafing beginning could help, Val strafe pwn, damn it's hard! ah god damn it!! ah damn god damn aaaaahhhh!!! don't aaaaahhh can't aaaaah!!!! not going for it bye.

Wouldn't be surprised to see 2:19 before the end of the year, if anyone good actually bothers to try for it. 2:18 would be very strong with the current strat IMO.

Pretty good run. I had a lot faster beginning than my 131, about 3 seconds. I had a pretty good end but nowhere near as good as my incredible end on the 131 so it ended up being a low 1:30 (1:30.13)

I would say 2:18 would be pretty insane, maybe/prolly maxed out imo, but 2:19 I'm sure Boss will take care of in then near future, that shouldn't be too hard.
