if he had a good trev he isnt even close to the tanks. ive never once seen him die ever in my life from an explosion if its a good trev. so he probly didnt have a good trev

one time i had a good trev, and i was so surprised that i forgot what i was supposed to blow up, so i threw a mine under his feet and killed him. needless to say, the objective didn't complete. :eek

I once had a good trev on a SA run and when i threw the mine i was so happy/nervous i blew it up right in my face killing myself and along with my good old buddy trev. :lol

I can't find a vid for reference, but I use some older strat that doesn't involve bug throwing or pipe warping.

30 hours before a single completion on SA (my 1:07) can give you a nice indication.

Plus, frigate is either my first or second favourite stage, depending on the day, so I play it A LOT.

That strat you are using has way worse completion rates then the old 1:14 strat which is absolutely horrible. use the new strat get like sub 120 cake style and fast

just look at where the timer is.. if it didn't start yet it's 29 sec (it fades at the last sec) + however long until it would have come up (5 sec after doing MF), and substract 2 for pausing. if you can see the time, it's the same idea.

You forget one detail, We use the pause trick which if you do it good can give less than a second pause time.

And yeah, I got a 1:18 pauseout today, And it was easily my best run so far. Fast glass, Good first 3 rooms, No stucks. So 1:16 is a pretty awesome pauseout time. I assume it was with BA and safe start? Well it's at least 1:44 speed obviously also depending on how fast you got back to vent.

I had a 1.16 pause out today too when getting back to the vents, it was good but not insane, some spots could have been better and yeah it was with shooting guards in beginning and BA. I ran trough the drones and took two backs and I really doubt that could have been better than 1:45 actually, 1:44 with this strat would be insane.

This would have been a failed run if I had activated the countdown though and possibly close to the fastest possible speed in that last room. Maybe running trough the drones and getting only one back saves enough to make 1.44 possible though.

Frigate 00 1:20, only failing the bug

Edit: Lots of 1:2x, some 1:19s, 2 1:18s, a 1:17, and fluked a 1:14

The thing is, it's quite irritating to go from a strat where I could consistently fail a good time to a strat that involves enough luck factors to make me want to destroy things, and I can't get a decent time anyway. I'd rather play 20 hours for a good PR (1:16 or lower, that was my goal). In conclusion, @#%$ Frigate... for now, anyway.

Having said that...

I failed 27 about twenty nine billion times. and this disgusting level almost gave me a heart attack when I failed (one time in my whole life) at 25 - missing the bug throw and failing hostages.
