That's not the point though. You have to draw the line somewhere, and there's no way of drawing that line based on how "difficult" a WR is. Sure, right now Dam 53 is considered hard, but someday it will prolly be among the most common WRs, or somebody may even get 52. Just like Depot 26 was at one point an awesome WR but now is the most common. You say that right now Dam 53 should warrant proof, but a couple years from now when 20 people have it and it's considered "easy", it shouldn't?
The point is, if we let some WRs go w/out proof, then people can (reasonably) start to assume that they can claim these WRs without even getting them. And that's the worst case scenario.
All people, all WRs, no exceptions, is the only policy that we can have and still consider the Goldeneye Elite completely legitimate. We start making exceptions for single records, or certain people, and then we have to make exceptions for everyone. That's the only reason why your Depot 26 IS a big deal, because you can't let one person have a WR without proof and then demand proof from somebody else for that same WR.
I believe you have 26, as I'm sure most of the guys do. It's just the principle of the matter, that we just have to draw that line regardless.
