Surely it must be a bit faster (though not as consistent) with running straight trough the open double doors, Alex did 55s this way too. I didn't have too much trouble getting 56s with closed double doors but then I had a really good run and still it was 56 and then I decided to do the shooting before nat to have the double doors open.

Good stuff, Illu. How feasible is 2:19? I'm surprised SA Statue is a three-way tie, I thought 00 was easier.

Yeah for some reason I've always happened to get a faster time on SA, probably coinsidence but I had like 2:30 A and 00A and jumpled to 2:28 on SA. Then I had 2:24 and 2:23 for A and 00A and got a nice 2:22 for SA, good to see I continue that trend

But really it's not much but 00A has a bit better chanse for boost I guess and hmm dunno about the Trev shot, I think it's only harder on Agent because you might kill him but on SA that didn't happen even once.

I've had better beginnings up to Trev, then I did a very high 34 return (35 is really rare I think) and I pwned the FR pick up, that kind of ending I'd need. Surely for me I think 2:19 is not within reach right now, well I think if I try for 2:20 on 00A and get the best beginning and own the ending again, but surely 2:19 would be awesome and I don't think I'm up for it really at least as it seems now when I haven't had that kind of dedication and skill for this level. Then thing is I still haven't had a 2:20 fail heh.

So as I see it Bryan's the only one who's seriously had a shot at 2:19 so far, well Mouser I guess but I think he only did 2:19 speed once. Dan was trying for it a bit too though, so whenever he plays again and tries for it who knows.

Statue 00A 2:20 VID!

Also completed a 2:26 (no Trev shot) well I attempted it and missed but the mission didn't fail so I decided to try out a run without it, vid of that is in my getfile.

EDIT: Tied with Wouter in number of WRs now but he has two more untied and he's... oh well whatever.

I tried some agent but didn't manage even one good Trev shot in two hours $:\$ well I knew it's alot harder on agent. If I seem to be just wasting time on it then I might try something else for a while. On the other hand though I should end up with 2:21 at least if I complete, and it could need just one good Trev shot heh.

It's good to see some competition on Statue at last. I think Dan's tying of SA/00 was at least a year ago, and nothing much has happened on it since then. It'd be nice for someone to get at least 2:21 Agent. Maybe when 2:20 Agent gets tied then people will finally feel stimulated to try seriously for 2:19 on the other difficulties. Along with the recent tie on Egypt, it's good to see these dead levels being reawakened, at least a bit. What's next, Jungle?!

For agent, can the shot be a body shot or just limb? Sounds like you need to figure out how to make that shot, maybe practice on an emu with a save stat to figure out the best place to aim. Then once you can get the shot with consistency you'll be set.

Trev dies with a body shot, and even if you do hit him on a limb, many times it forces a long recovery from trev. That's why agent is so tough.

You CAN get a body hit if it's in the right place. It takes limb damage but gets the best recovery.

Pop him in the shoulder...limb damage but it's a body response. It's the only way on Agent you can get an instant response. SHOULDER HIT PEOPLE.
