Well, today is September 1, 2006. I dont know how many of you are super-observant, but you may have noticed exactly one year ago today, I was added to the GE World Ranks. If you didnt notice me then, maybe you did on November 16 when I got Cradle Agent 0:35. If not then, then maybe it was on January 5th, when I got my first untied with Surface 2 Agent 0:51. If not then, maybe it was when I beat marsh in the summer contest, or maybe it was just one random time when I got into chat. No matter how or when, Im sure most of you have noticed my presence here for the past year. I can only say its been a great year with a lot of great memories and Id just like to thank many people who have made this journey so enjoyable. So in other words, this topic will be like a thanks or just a shout out to all my elite pals.

Alex Anderson You are definitely the most influential to my elite life, and even my real life. (whether thats a good thing or not
) You captured my tapes, I learned how to glowstick from those vids you made, you showed me to love frigate and bunker 2, and you showed me that people who did drugs a few times in their life arent really so bad like I always thought. Theres so much to add, but so little space, so you being the guy whos kissed guys, and me being a really gay heterosexual, Ill just say I LOVE YOU MAN!!!
Michael Kirkness Dude, you are the man. We didnt even talk on AIM for 2 months and only communicated through the boards at first, but I always felt that bond with you. We were just the two new Canadian newcomers who could get WRs. Not too much to add here, but just youre like my brother here.
Bryan Bosshardt I remember the first time I talked to you. Like many, I was very intimidated. But now you are one of the guys Im most comfortable talking to on AIM. Especially after we started talking a lot (like 4 hours/day) around the start of the Summer Contest, you really lived up to my (and n00bs alike) expectations of the GE king, unretiring and getting all those great WRs. Youve really helped me rise up the ranks always giving me advice, and its great to talk to you all that time. Thanks for being a great friend man.
Greg Larkin Dude, I hated you at the start. You were a huge n00b. I have no idea what happened, but now youre one of my best friends here. Ive helped you in GE, and youve helped me in life and such, so thanks man. As far as real life goes, I bet you would be a real good friend of mine, even outside the elite. Cant truly say that about too many people I suppose. Thanks for always being there man.
Brandon Sanford I know we dont talk so much anymore, but you are easily one of the most influential to my GE career. My first two untieds used strats that you came up with. When I passed you for the top 10, that was the moment I really saw myself as having potential in this game. Thanks for just being a nice guy who helped me start out in here.
Jean-Franois Dubreuil Yea, youre important. When I first got WRs and had no VCR, I came to you to ask what to do. You helped me, and I guess if I had claimed some of my unproven times people would have got mad and maybe I would have been chased from the-elite. Apart from that, you are the coolest guy here. Ilari Pekkala We dont talk much, but I mean, we have some bond or something. Just the two guys who tore GE apart recently. Well we both had emo problems and like, its just we are good at GE and like maybe to do other stuff. Well who knows, maybe its better. Argh, just thanks dude for being that other 1337 pwner of this game nowadays.
Wouter Jansen No idea what to thank you for, but I guess youre cool to talk to on AIM sometimes, you always have that legendary aura around you, and you helped me with some strats on GE. Thanks.

Dan Cervone Ive talked to you twice ever, but passing you is the greatest accomplishment of my gaming career. When I joined, you were tearing the game apart, and I guess not talking to you has kept you that idol of greatness that we all see the top 5 like as n00bs. You showed its possible to get POY one year, and get laid the next, so thanks for being cool.
Mike Gaydeski Youre a cool guy. We modded the sandbox and not Spamtown together, so like we own the spam boards or something. Well we stopped spamming so much recently. Yea, things are better for us I guess. Wont go into too many details, yea whatever. Youre cool and all. Oh yea, you got cool WRs too when you were playing. Dunno what else. Sall then.

Thomas Andrews You are the only guy I can talk to about some certain things. Wont go into too many details but youre my RRW friend here. Fun to talk about those crazy DLW guys with you. Also, thanks for adding me to the n00b rivalry. That really got me playing for rank which I guess lead to me getting so high ranked. Thanks man!
Adam Matis You really inspired me to beat your jungle times. That rivalry we had (even for just those 2 days) was really the first I ever had, and passing you really made me open my eyes. Youre extra cool because you can get laid one day, and get a cool PR the next. Looking forward to when I get Metroid DS so I can get pwned.

Luke Szklarz Youre the first new guy I feel like I influenced in GE. I mean, when I first started, I idolized guys like Jimbo or Dan, and then to think that now new guys idolize me in the same way, its very flattering. Thanks also for being such a great guy to talk to.

Well theres one year gone. I mean, I think a lot sometimes and theres a lot of things I need to do this year, so I know this next year with the elite will be different. I still look forward to being here, since I love this place. I cant say for sure that Ill be as active and involved, but I hope I can as much as I am able to do so.
