Im a bit nervous to post here but i guess ill tell you all about me

Im Nathan Keeper and i live in brandon manitoba (thats in canada). ive been playing in the shadows like watching vids and learning from them. im pretty good i guess but i still have to join.

so i know theres a thing about recording your records and getting videos made, so id like to know who i can send my stuff out to. i dont have alot of money right now so if theres anyone in canada or someone in states close by please let me know so i can talk to this person.

So as you can imagine ive been playing for a long time, well over four years now i think. I just love GOLDENEYE! It took me a little over three months to organize the tapes like this too and im a little paranoid with time otherwise it would be like 6 tapes only, sorry

Damnit, okay I'm calm... Nathan, I know you. We used to play @#%$ GE when we were in SIXTH GRADE. I remember... I remember it all now, you were the first out of our group of friends who got all the cheats. You've been using 1.2 from the start (I remember switching it back to 1.1 when he'd let us play) and would own us ALL THE TIME in multi. I NEVER thought you'd still be playing let alone finding this site... I haven't even talked to you in years, it'd be SO awesome to see you again.

Nathan Keeper uses 1.2, probably doesn't use a dot, and is a very consistent and talented gamer (not to mention his patience, jesus. I remember he'd play @#%$ Facility for HOURS trying to get the cheat. Of course I got good at it first and got it before he did ).

He's going to be #1, and he'll probably stay there a very long time.

I kind of believe with Jimbo, and it'd kind of suck for me if you are legit Nathan, but then again, with a new great Canadian player out there, and a 3rd in the top 10, it's only a matter of time before Canada takes 2nd place in the countries.

none of those times are that good, and he's been playing over 4 years.

Michael, you are getting better times than any of his at a much faster pace, so you shouldn't have any complaints at all.
The only thing that sounds pretty fishy to me is that he also happens to be a Canadian, which, you know about.

I can only be glad about more people that love GE so much to play it a lot and actually take the game to its limit, eventually.

In regards to the skepticism, whether warranted or not, perhaps the tapes should be sent to one of the Proof Moderators instead of just people that can make vids.  Anybody else have thoughts on this?

Anyways, yeah try to get on aim so we can talk to you about sending tapes and anything else about GE.  I think you have promising times for the most part, and a nice stuff on Control already.   So yeah, enjoy your stay here, and prove yourself as soon as you can.

Really amazing! This never happenned before (well there are similarities with boss for sure but you didn't had such good times bryan :-p but ok you had a little strat)

This game is almost 10 years old and still such a thing can happen, I'm pretty amazed.

Not the same thing. Back then there was no real community, just a ranking page and mailing between people.
No natural communication point, which the-elite.net provides today.

I remember that you used the gayfags boards to make your case.

My point is, being an unknown superstar at the GE scene back then was much more likely that it's now.

I really find it hard that he has gotten all those times before making his presence known here.

Film this guy playing and getting a sweet time (WR or close). We need to be able to see him literally playing, not just a screen.

edit: you may also want to go to great lengths to show he isn't just fiddling with the controller while a video plays.

Just when you thought you have encountered everything in the Elite, this happens. Pretty interesting development.

I think this happened before, a loooooooooong time ago (yes, with this many o's). Somewhere in the Ice Age of GoldenEye and the person was Wouter Jansen. The only difference was that Wouter was not playing as long as Nathan. Wes was furious, along with others. I validated all Wouter's (for that timespan) amazing records, Wouter debuted as 2nd somewhere late December 2000/early January 2001 behind GE legend Sterling and the rest of the story should be familiar.

Just, with this many amazing records for a newcomer (a little bit less great when you're playing for 4 years), I don't understand why Nathan didn't contact the Elite way earlier. Or he was working towards this point to blow us away like a tornado...

We've had many liars and cheaters before, so I understand  why some members are a bit anxious. But, don't judge a book by its cover. Let's give Nathan the opportunity to prove himself...

Why is it so hard to believe that someone would play a game for four years and just now join?  There's a lot of hobbies I'm in that I enjoyed for years before I realized that there were other people, websites, whole communities devoted to doing the same thing I enjoyed.  

If you had told me two years ago there was a website where people competed in video games, I'd probably have laughed.  Heck, there probably are sites where people compete on the games I play, where I try to beat my own PRs, and I just haven't found them yet.

The difference is that this guy knew about the elite the whole time. It's odd that he would lurk here for years and just now reveal himself.
