About time I slayed that 7-minute monster. This can only get better from here. I think I pwned somewhere, I can't remember. Lots of stucks that come to mind, could have used more strafing, could have been 2:19, could have this, could have that, etc.

PR sweep! :lol

Was going for sub-230 on all diffs, all achieved under an hour. So CALLING ALL STATUE EXPERTS! I need help with the Trev shot. Where exactly do I shoot Trev for each difficulty (Can't see ANYTHING on any vids =p Which btw are painful to watch)? I'm assuming it's different with the health considerations (I was thinking it was in the limb for SA/00A - Experiments have turned out nothing). I want at least 2:23s before I'm satisfied, then will go for 2:22 later on. I pretty much got the lines down and my Val strafing is decent enough. On Agent I got really lucky with the shot, but didn't attempt it on SA/00A.

w00t. Still chumping it up on the alarms. That's the WORST part of this level for me. The sewer part is getting easier and easier. On this first 2:16 I got some nice boosts, although didn't kill all the guards I was supposed to. Had to PP7 all the alarms. 2nd completion of this level since.... A long time ago.

Plus a couple others I care not to post right now.

Jungle A - 1:03

Bit of a story behind this time, read on if you want.

First off, this time literally came out of NOWHERE with my previous PR being a very lame 1:24, 0 points. So there I am on the mission select screen, right in the middle of a blonde moment. I reach for my drink and shake off my caffiene high. I selected Jungle, then Agent, thinking "ah what the hell". First attempt was the worst possible thing you could ever see. Missed the first guard for the AR33, missed a drone, missed Xenia, and then she almost killed me.
Second attempt. First area was as bad as the first attempt, but I kept on going anyways. In my mind I'm not even trying to go for a fast time, just playing around. I blow the drones, and eventually kill a guard somewhere for an AR33. Cross the bridge, throw the mine, BOOM, drone's gone. Now here's the most awesome part of the run. I whip out the AR33 and just start shooting blindly between those trees, and as I'm walking forward - "omfg I am actually shooting her in the friggin head"! I keep walking and not only did I kill her with those 20 bullets, I never even stopped.

By now I'm thinking "OMFG NEW PR", the only problem was the rest of the stage. I stumble around the first cave with the RCP90 trying to find the drone and eventually manage to destroy it, so I continue on. Now, I'm worried at this point because I've never warped this ladder properly before. But I kept on and to my surprise, actually managed to pull it off. Right away I shot, pwned the drone, shot again, pwned the other drone, and ran straight to the end, all in right-strafe. Although I probably shouldn't have been, I was shaking nervous when I went to the time screen. :lol

I dunno WHAT I was expecting.... Oh well.

I'll just say that missing the warp on an 18 by no means means that you missed out on 17. This level would be just as weird as Facility is for those 2 players in this thread, you can have "great" runs and never see anything below 18 (could even get a 19 sometimes), and you can have sucky runs miraculously be 18.

I must be the 2nd most knowledgeable person about bunker 1 A. And indeed a 18 with a crap warp does not mean 17. You can get the shittiest 18s ever. I had a 5/1 going around the table 18. I had many 18s with gay warp. etc. Then you get a solid run, not a great one, but good enough for 18, and its 19.
