From what I remember, you can't alert the exhaust room guys without alerting the close guy. If you could, this strat would be working by now.

However, you could come up with a strat where you alert the exhaust guys (thus the close guy too) with the AR33, close the mainframe on the guy, run to the glass, leave, and the one guy will run to the glass with the other 2 (or 1 I think only gets alerted) guys nearby for the opening. I don't feel like trying stuff now. I don't even know if what I'm saying is correct. Oh well.! :eek

There is one way to alert them, If the mainframe is closed and you stand right next to it on the right side and shoot like a billion shots with Ar33.

Btw, That only gives 1 guard.

You can stand on the open MF and alrert one blast room guard without the close guard doing anything. You just can't fire bullets near him or let him see you, you can make all the noise you want though.

I firmly believe that this time is possible. I have the lines planned out in my head but so far have had no luck in pulling them off. I always blow it after the safe keyhut. Not to mention the one backboost that plagues me every single run as I exit. That's the only line I think is a complete whore. Other than that it's just pure skill.

Note that Lookdown has to be used 96% of the entire run. Far enough down that there's no lag when running across the snow.

Start - first keyhut.
First keyhut - Safe keyhut.
Safe keyhut - Safe hut. (bitch)
Safe hut - Satellite tower inside door
Satellite tower - top of hill where you get about a second to aim and shoot for the four locks with the GL.
pwn warp with perfect fall.

You can warp the ladder while using lookdown, I've tried.

If you don't think this time is possible, convince me why and I won't spend the 20+hours I'm about to spend trying to get it. INEVITABLY SETTING THE MOST INSANE UNTIEABLE NSa RECORD EVER.

Any Ryan... Which guard does that grenade come from?

I think cinema timing is needed, and he comes almost on the perfect line you take after the safe hut. I don't know the cinema timing if it is required (I'm assuming it is.) But don't try that strat unless you are:

-insane
-intoxicated
-retarded

Shouldn't you get 150s before going for 149.

For s1 sa/00 any guard(snipers/klobbers), but kf7 soviet guards(the only guards that start the level, that aren't random), can pull grenades.

I hope you know only the random guards can pull grenades, snipers and klobbers that spawn only.

Why go for 149 with old strat, when you could possibly do 148 with a nade strat.

Well I'd just said that cuz I assumed he was the only one in the way 100% of the time, therefore probable that the grenade comes from him.

Hmm... I think I know which other guard to frisk for a nade.

I got a nade once, it was funny. That guy after the safe hut, although the sniper near that strange building with explosives in it seems nade happy.

You'd need to do it with no strafe breaking too. GL pickup is like 1-2 seconds.

They are completely different strats though. im sure 52s are cake speedwise with peters strat, and 51s not TOO hard using the no strafe change strat and peters throw.

i had trouble with 53 too using the 53 strat, comparing vids you are ALOT closer to the building and ALOT farther past were peter throws, costing you ALOT of time.

thing is, peters throw is probly near impossible to complete in comparison to standard 53 throw, which is bad enough already

so all in all, s2 is stupid and 51 is a good time or something.

I had a hard time failing 53s with the 53 strat. All I wanted was 53. If I got 53 I would have stopped. But then I tried the 52 strat, and found it easier/faster. Maybe it was only for me. And stuff. I don't know what I am saying. I forgot.

Great throw, I think you were just so much further away from the tower than Bryan and Peter, mostly you didn't go so far to the right of the tower for the throw. This is perfect for doing the ending in right strafe from there on.
