The train shot isn't any harder on PAL than NTSC, it's all about playing a lot until you get the turning right. The thing is that a 26 on PAL seems to require an overly smoother run, especially in the hut and in door passages. Matthijs is PAL, yes, but I don't know how long it took him to get 26.
PAL/NTSC difference is also supposed to be bigger for Depot SA and 00, mostly because of the roller-doors. But that's according to what I've been told from Wouter, I haven't looked into it myself.
What makes me sick of Depot A is that 27 is a given no matter how good or bad a run is. I can stumble around, getting stuck, waiting for roller-door, etc. and get 27. Or I can do what looks like my best run ever, and still get 27. No fun that.
