Wait...Mario Kart Meet ? 
Alright, I think I'm pretty much decided to come, but there are still some issues I've got to deal with, like which is the closest airport, would someone be able to take me there (and bring me back later), etc., so... thank you guys if you can help me about that.
Besides, making this trip for 4-5 days is in some way "dommage" (i.e. you regret something) and I think I could take advantage of this journey to see some more land 
So, I wanted to let you know that if any of you agreed to host me for a few days more (before or after), that would be really welcome

The dates are looking very much like August 13-17 for the meeting dates (for competitions and other fun:-p). This is a Wed-Sun. Everyone should try to arrive Wed by night, then we'd have pretty much 4 full days for the meeting (which is better than last year). This would also allow for it to overlap the weekend, so most people should only need two days off work.
As for flying, the nearest airports are RIC (Bird International Airport in Richmond, Virginia), which is about an hour and a half from the house, and The two airports in Washington, DC, which is about 2 and a half hours from the house.
If we know when and where you are coming/going, then, yes, someone will be available to pick you up and drive you around.
Also, you could tie it in with a trip to see whatever else in the USA you wanted. Like I said, the place is close to DC, and thats a big tourist attraction.
As for hosting, I'm sure that some will drive, and wouldn't mind you going back with them (barring room
)
