Youse (and everyone else) - Thanks to a recent update in the engine, depth will be even more important in season 2, as players will now be extra sluggish when energy is low and also come out of games more tired than before. So if you want to get some other guys involved, Youse, I can promise a good amount of playing time right now at LB, CB, WR, OG, SS, C, DE, and OT, in roughly that order. I'm also very skeptical of our HB situation heading into the season. I'll probably give preference on the depth chart to Eliters if everything else is equal, but if the guys are willing to level up, they could probably buy a starting spot
In any case, backups will get solid playing time every game and all the special teams snaps. Everybody has a role.
There is one potential problem right now, and though we're likely okay, it would be terrible if it actually does come into play. My latest payment for flex points, initiated on the 15th, does not clear until the 21st, the same day that new teams are supposed to become available. While I doubt that all 750 teams will be snatched up before I'm able to acquire one, it is a bit concerning. To make matters worse, I'll be travelling to Florida on the 22nd so I won't be around for much of the day. Hopefully I can get the team on the 21st as planned, send contracts out, appoint Shep as GM, etc, etc. There's actually a ton to do as the owner of a new team. *fingers crossed*
