ever thought about 4 player GE with a sheet of cardboard taped from top to bottom? actually really fun! OBV player 1 and 3 are on a team against 2 and 4! can be tons of fun! clear packing tape works well enough and when i did it, it was well worth the hassle of putting up the cardboard!

Hello all,
It is time to start planning possible dates for the meeting now! I will be ending my summer class on August 6, and starting my final semester on August 25. So, sometime between those dates will be my best time.

Here is what I propose:
If the time frame is going to be like the last two years - August 12-16 (Arrive Wed 12, leave Sun 16)
If we could get an extended time frame - August 13-20 (Thursday to Thursday, since Thursdays are generally the cheapest days to fly)

or, really, any 4 or 7 day stretch between those two dates works for me.

Well if it's for an entire week, I'd rather it just be a standard calendar week...although I'm not aware of exactly how much less it costs to fly on a Thursday.

I'm going to be tentative this year as per I dont have vacation days. I'm not sure I'll be able to make it, and no im not going to just show up like last year with adam. haha. But I think thats just too long of a time, in the works sense. In a having fun sense obviously a week is grand. Gas prices were through the roof too and I had to borrow $10 dollars from jones till I got home, didnt plan accordingly.

I hope to see this meet continually grow. I will always try to make it to this meet because the hospitality and friends you meet(met) are just an awesome community.

Anyhow I will keep an update but anyone who was thinking about whether or not they should go, you should, its definately an experience you must have as an active,retired, or fun gamer. (Alot of fun activities as well as competitiveness) I need to send these videos out to someone still of last year and the year before.

Someone should definitely do a end of the week video calouge (sp?) of what went down and or of the previous meets. (Thats if everyone plans to stay a week, its tough to do with only 4 days as the tournaments and other activities take up the other allotted time)

I'd stay a month if I could. I'm pretty sure I would not get bored at this awesome place with the awesome people. A week sounds terrific, and August sounds about right! Make the dates final already so I can schedule my vacation already.

Also, is it too early to make a list of people who may be willing to go this year?

The person who died the least in multiplayer in Virginia has question. You're not the fastest on the ranks yet you took time to come over seas and kicked our asses. Some champions I know won't even get out of their house. Been doing a lot of other gaming myself so GE isn't always high on my priority list.

Had a bizarre dream last night about being at the meet, and something about trying to get my ping pong paddle out of a wall but kept knocking it down and everyone was harassing me about it cuz I was messing up the Weatherton's walls. Even David Wonn was yelling at me and I said "shut up Wonn!" the same I would usually say "shut up Jimbo!"

I actually have dreamed about the next meeting a couple of times lately. One where I was hoping that everything would turn out perfect, and that all last years people would join and stuff. Then all of a sudden all this uninvited people starting to party and stuff in the house like crazy. People from my early school and stuff which I rarely talk to nowdays (and never used to really). One where Weathertons house was basically flat, and their whole house felt like the basement or something. I just talked to Andrew about Karting and Mickey's Speedway USA and stuff, don't remember much more of it. I also remember meeting Jimbo and Liz for some reason.

Hopefully this year will go by quick so we can go there already, also since everybody appears to have crazy dreams about it.

Then Eddie and I beat the crap out of that guy who was posting retarded things on our youtube videos. Then I banged Boxxy again.

Then the next night we went to the bar and there was a GE night. We kicked everyone's asses who doubted our skills and then we beat them up in a bar fight. Then we got all the girls, who were all Boxxy clones and I had a 4-some with 2 Boxxy's and Miley Cyrus.

Just kidding, that wasn't really a dream. It was just some scenario I came up with that would be really cool.

The basement rework is nearly complete. Will be done well in advance our your event. We're certainly up for hosting another. Just need to work out the dates. Give me some options and we'll go from there.

Wednesday Night through Sunday Night would work best for me
either that or Thursday night through Monday night
(which actually works better)
So, some possible dates
August 6 to 19
*August 6 to 10
or August 13 to 17
