what if we agreed with some weapon setting that would be ok with LTK, and the player who gets to chose the stage for the round, also gets to chose which weapon setting is played. im having fun imagining a final with remote mines on facility or something, more exciting than pistols all the time me thinks

Lol, I was thinking that after reading Luke's post, it'd be cool to watch like 7 spawn explosions in a row on Complex. Would be funny to see, but definitely not fitting for a championship that should be based on skill.

GE multiplayer is getting boring and it's biased towards people who can handle pistols well. If you really want a fair combat and a true match, you should pick PD multiplayer and basically randomize everything. That truly shows the skills of people, handing weird weapon combinations, knowing the levels, how to handle situations etc. You also don't have that gay thing like shooting like a madman for ages at each other in GE on normal settings, which is really retarded btw. Now people are forced to basically take these settings, because everything else is... weird?

Just hit A as fast as you can and hit start at a completely random time while looking away from the screen, play with those settings, and go!

Ha.  It was you Jim being all 'serious' during the meets especially having a fit over your wr.  I love to bring it up but you can read the sig, that way there's even less doubt.

oh true that Jimbo. It took me 19km to work every day, and 19km back, but at work I'd drive between 50-80k more while patrollin' dirty so I know what you mean.

(copy-pasted post from GE boards, for relevance to this topic as well)

IMO, a pretty impressive multiplayer video (especially for a non-eliter):

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_up4ZvnLhvs

This guy saw my "GE multiplayer Lovins Matis Woll" video from February, and messaged me saying the vid was awesome and asking me how I made it cuz he wanted to make one of his own, with highlights of him and his friends playing, because he thought they were as good as what he saw in my video. Finally managed to make a video last week. Of course I expected it to be random-internet-youtuber-n00bish but the guy in this video seriously looks really solid. Granted, players 2 and 3 seem to be pretty subpar, but the guy insists they're all almost even. Also they have radar on but doesn't seem like player 1 needed it anyways. Regardless, some very impressive kills.

Anyways, I told the guy about the Virginia tournament and he sounds interested in going next year with his 2 friends. They live in Maryland, how lucky for them.

hmm, that's funny because last night I made a fake user (who is apparently a girl) on GLB and went on the forums saying how my favorite activity is bedroom wrestling.

too bad there are no hot girls there, I would love to wrestle with them.

though I suppose we could stay in a hotel for a few days AFTER or BEFORE the meet and invite friendly, sexy Virginians there

One way to know the best person at multi is to simply have everyone play each other.  Take a long time but it would remove all doubt.  I've lost games before simply because I've had bad matchups.  Any MTG player knows he's in for it if he's playing black and is facing an enchantment-heavy deck.

But the way it's always been if fine.  If you were good enough you should have defeated your opponent easily.  I'd like to know what would happen if good multiplayers in any game were paired up first?  I'm sure there' more ideas out there.

BTW.  Why is it called a meet?  I wouldn't go to meet anyone.  You are my opponents.  I'm playing against you, not with you.  This is about beating a real human into a pulp making them cry, not about a machine that really doesn't have a fair advantage...
