As you may or may not know, there is a Mayan prophecy which describes the world ending on December 21 2012. Odds are this is a bunch of kabuffle for nothing, but the point is we can get a 4 year countdown. One post a day until the end of the world in this thread should be pretty reasonable!

Instead of saying "Day One" you should calc the number and then keep posting "x Days Left." You know, a countdown.

It's not a Mayan prophecy, the last day on the Mayan calendar is 12/21/12.

Lets say this is going to happen... which i highly doubt... that means 1 year after getting out of college my life will be ruined... which in good terms... THANK GOD! then i dont have to work at all... im stoked if this comes true... did the mayans or incans or whatever say how it will happen?

May 17 2011 was a predicted apocalypse too, it was even on billboards spread around Green Bay (no joke). When that failed, the original predictor pushed it back to Oct 17 2011, claiming he was five months wrong - these were more epic to witness as failures than Dec 21 2012.
