No Country is pretty cool. I didn't think it was boring at all. I loved the very last scene in the movie, it summed up the whole thing well. I thought Javier Bardem's character was very intriguing and captivating to watch. Not a movie that you'd go "oh it's my favorite" but definitely a worthwhile watch.

Having watched all the Coen brother's movies I can say that No Country is not their best film; imo it is "Fargo" and their debut film, "Blood Simple". However, No Country isn't boring at all; the film deserved the Oscar's it won.

It's probably the worst book of the whole series, so I'm not really looking forward to it! I wished they would have chose to do The Silver Chair.

Family Plot (1976)
IMDB Rate: 6.8/10. My Rate: 8/10
Alfred Hitchcock's last film.

The Trouble with Harry (1955)
IMDB Rate: 7.2/10. My Rate: 7/10
Another Alfred Hitchcock film.

The Wicker Man (1973)
IMDB Rate: 7.8/10. My Rate: 4/10

Manchurian Candidiate (1962)
IMDB Rate: 8.3/10 (#112th). My Rate: 3/10
Maybe the second half is better but the first half was so boring I switched off after about an hour.

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever (2002)

I thought this one was very good.  It was just your standard above average action-thriller that kept you in your seat until the end.

Popstar (2005)

Not the best film ever but I really enjoyed it for what it was.  I think Aaron Carter has a lot of potential as an actor.  It was a fun, cute movie for sure.

Zodiac Killer (2005)

This movie is an epic portrayal of one of the most mysterious crimes ever.  I highly recommend it for everyone to watch.

lol, I see. I still think you've seen more films on the bottom 100 list than me, since I haven't seen a single one. I used to having watched a few of those (Jaws 4, Lawnmower Man, Baby Genius) but none of them aren't longer on that list.

Anyway:
Pigsty (1969)
Last House on the Left (1972)

Actually I just looked through all 100 and I haven't seen any of them.  Not even;

Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience (2009)

but odds are I'll watch it one day once I get a girlfriend along with Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus; Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour (2008) which is inexplicably not in the bottom 100.

Top films I've seen;

Shawshank Redemption - Excellent, maybe not deserving #1 but it's so... awesome really in it's true definition.  It puts you into awe.

Pulp Fiction - Only seen the last 40 minutes or so, and parts of it, when high coming back from a swim (we had this playing on a loop for a few weeks during the summer... never got to see the whole thing in it's entirety) but the ending is really awesome and it's a cool movie for sure.

The Dark Knight - Not a fan at all, though Axel agrees with me on this so

Schindler's List - Very emotional.  Extremely good and heartfelt film.  Even with my general dislike of the content of this film, I could still see beyond that and recognize this film as being great.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Not sure why this is #8 but it is quite decent.  Jack Nicholson's acting is excellent obviously and it's a pretty eye opening story.  Very good movie but definitely not a favorite of mine.

12 Angry Men - Similar commentary to above.  Another very good, interesting film but not a personal favorite.

City of God

Raiders of the Lost Ark

The Matrix (I hate it)

Wall-E <3

and that's it from the top 40.  Didn't feel like writing any more but City of God and Raiders are both excellent, and you've already read my Wall-E critique

oh yeah and my favorite movies, as copy/pasted from my facebook:

Transformers
Armageddon
Signs
The Shawshank Redemption
Saving Private Ryan
Cast Away
Wall-E
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Happy Gilmore
Highschool Musical 2
The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters

They are in order of "flow" so not ranked. HSM2 and King of Kong I like slightly less than the others, but the others are all pretty closely enjoyed by me. I think there's a good mix of everything in there,

Where are the Westerns I have yet to see "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".

You should go ahead and create an account at www.250films.net Goose. There you can click on every movie you've watched that are in the top 250

Gosford Park (2001) - 2nd time I'm not really a fan of Robert Altman's movies, though I find them very original.

Haha Axel I've seen Gosford Park... it was kind of boring at points but always seemed decent and has a huge star studded cast who perform very well. I guess the twist at the end was neat too.

If I made an account on 250 I'd make it a goal of mine to see all 250... I don't want to do that yet. Not until I have that girlfriend who will watch movies with me!
