The most beautiful thing in the world
« on: April 14, 2009, 05:14:00 am »
My goal is to create a beautiful, short writing which can explicitly describe this situation in detail while being as fantastical as possible, yet relating to emotions we here on Earth can feel.  I want it to be descriptive, emotional, relative, elegant and beautiful.  Copy/paste and then change a few words as you wish:

Imagine walking towards a beautiful meadow and coming over a rolling emerald hill you notice your girlfriend is strumming her harp beside a sapphire pond. Her blonde hair is flowing around in the warm breeze, with a braided golden halo atop her head keeping it all in place. You kneel down beside her and take out your ocarina, harmoniously uniting melodies. In the sheer magnificence of the moment, you then make passionate love under the azure sky in your natural, worldly Garden of Eden, fully complemented by simultaneously climaxing in the realm closest to heaven we as mortals can possibly experience.

"I want to be defined by the things that I love. Not the things I'm afraid of, or the things that haunt me in the middle of the night.  I just think that, you are what you love."  Taylor Swift, Daylight.

I suddenly appreciate Robert Frost

Actually even before this I really rated his frost at midnight and lime tree. I was a pretty obnoxious 18 year old studying these at school, but now I'd love to sit down with someone and discuss these poems.

I'm sorry. The thing is, you phrase everything a little to flowery. Not that description is bad, but you overdid it.

A rolling emerald hill hiding a sapphire pond? Was there a ruby there too and maybe a Forest Medallion?
nothin' moves me more than a groove that soothes me
nothin' soothes me more than a groove that boosts me
nothin' boosts me more, or suits me beautifully
there's nothin' you can do to me; stab me, shoot me
