Most eliters who have had sex are a detriment to the human race by either choosing a mate who does not have good genes for procreation (is ugly, fat, unintelligent, etc) or by themselves not retracting from the gene pool (which should be done if you don't have good genes either.)

If people were pickier in who they choose to date, rather than just dating and mating "since everyone else does it" the human race would be far more evolved and therefore far better.

The human race has improved everything but the human race...
