I'm hosting a meet in beautiful Michigan at my apartment from Thursday 7/2 to Sunday 7/5 with:

Greg Woll
Adam Matis
Jim Barrett
David Clemens

Adam's flying in Thursday evening, Greg's driving up a little later, and Jimbo + Clemens are arriving on Friday afternoon. Friday will be the main game night as I'm also having my brother and a few other friends over that night to run 2vs2 tournaments in Goldeneye, Smash Melee and Smash 64, which should be the most popular games. I'm sure we'll run a 1vs1 in GE as well to go along with the Swedish tournament.

And if you know me well, you know EVERYTHING will be taped, so after a week or two after the meet of constant capturing/saving, I should have a ton of vids to post.

Other likely events may include, but are not limited to: bar night on Saturday, ping pong/basketball at my mom's house, a "bench-off" at my gym to see who can bench the most, and Adam farting in Jimbo's face while trying to poor chocolate syrup on him. (What? That already happened?) Gotta play some Mario Kart too, but that could be limited to Jimbo and I since the others hate it. Hell, with all these competitions, we can even crown an "overall champ" of the meet like in Virginia.

Should be an awesome weekend and good preparation for the Virginia tournaments.

Adam's the only one who's really into Brawl, I mean we'll definitely play it plenty, just probably not enough interest for a tournament.

Anyway, Ngamer is out and you just know Clemens is gonna bail, in which case I would be driving solo for 8.5 hours in a car I can't trust, leaving a solid chance at me chickening out of the meet I pushed to make happen! Don't be too disappointed Eddie, just work on Clemens.

Well I also have a few spare comforters and pillows, and one sleeping bag already, not sure why I didn't say that in my last post. Plus someone will also get the couch (which is VERY comfortable btw)...you guys could do a single GE 4-player match to decide who gets it.

Just wanted to make sure there's something for everyone.

Every time you die, you have to take a shot or a drink or whatever you deem appropriate.

The first person out of each game needs to remove 1 article of clothing.

well its 4:10 am and eddie is sleeping on the couch right now... i had to main failed logins to post a pic. But we played a bunch of mele and smash 64. Not to mention GE. ( and alcohol greg replies) Greg and I destroyed in smash melee while eddie and his brother Jake destroyed in smash 64. We played a little bit of brawl but it was just kinda messing around but no really contest there. We started playing GE multi about 2am. I did horrible and didn't win one match...got some clost second but the effects of 7 beers kicked in i guess :-/ it was fun and looking forward to jimbo and clemens tomorrow. Hopefully jimbo didn't eat clemens...

but yeah greg just laughed at that. haha uhhh yeah well that all for the first night. its been fun so far so can't wait for tomorrow.

God damnit Matis I didn't eat Clemens. I was watching Clemens speedrunning in front of me yesterday and he got a 0:47 Facility Agent first try; needless to say I felt n00bish and I couldn't get 0:47 in the "10 minutes" that I thought I could! (I'll be playing this for a while at Eddie's). Anyway, we're leaving now and it we should be there in 8 hours if Chicago goes smoothly.

Nah he's met Bryan and Drag before at various meets, but yeah this is the first time he's met anyone outside of WI.

Just got 100 more Runway 23s (2965 total now) with Dave watching most of them, but he pointed out some stuff I was missing so should help. Jimbo's got some more Bunker 18s.

Forgot to post last night: Adam and Greg won the team Melee tournament, and me and my brother Jake won the Smash 64 tournament. Then we played a ton of GE multi which Jimbo did TERRIBLE at.
