I'll actually have a real nice open house down here for a week or more in early September, and then (probably) again starting the day after Thanksgiving. I've got 3 large beds, 3 large sofas, underground pool/hot tub in a screened in area out back, a bit of free alcohol... so yeah, if anybody wants to coordinate something, you're all welcome to meet here.

Alternatively, I can travel whenever.

To anywhere in Florida that a meet happens! Or if you were asking where my house is, it's in Port Orange, right by Daytona Beach. We used to live on the beach in Daytona Beach Shores, which is about 10 minutes from here. Another fine reason to come!

I'll be available early september QB. Thats pretty much within a few weeks. I'll be down to drive up as well. I'll call Adam and Derek I guess and see what their schedule is looking like. Is Lockwood still in florida? Who else is in Florida??

my schedule is getting kinda hectic. I'll be busy early sept and early october. Probably going home for thanksgiving and xmas. I was telling Dylan and Clark that Jan would probably work out. Just gonna have a lot of work to do coming up.

You know I post on other web sites, just like everyone else, and I've never seen the maturity level so low as it is here with a few people. The disrespect is pathetic. Just let them post if they want to waste time, but Jon its nice you can put a foot down anyway.

I hope to get back in aim chat soon when my computer is back up and running, I can see I've been annoying in some of the threads.

If this becomes a serious meet, and I have enough money around then (will be buying a house in the next few months), then I'd consider flying down. It'd be perfect to do in January to get out of the middle of Michigan winter.

I got an offer of a free florida trip and I just said I'd take their offer and then spurn them to meet with whoever I know that's down there lol. No clue on dates yet though.

I guess it depends for how long you guys would meet since I wouldn't drive and fly down there for a day or 2 but if it's a bit longer I would definitely consider going.

And obv it will be winter here so that's another plus!

Pylnternational<~~ didn't work oh well. I'd pick you up at the airport bud but I doubt anything would be longer then 3-4 days.

I wish we could get like a nice 5 bedroom house down here somewhere!! The only problem I'm seeing is where everyone will sleep... I guess we'll figure it out when the time comes and there's a count. Wish I could of made VA...

Actually I guess I'd be up for whatever lenght of the meet and I could just stay a bit longer afterward to go to the beach and all that stuff I can't do here in the snow or in the summer

I'm sure some people could sleep in some hotels or if they live kinda close just drive back there to lseep even if it's not all that awesome to do so?

But yeah I'd probably be up for it if I can have the dates soon enough to book at not so expensive.

On a real note, this has gained ALOT of interest in a short time. I was more or less expecting a florida meet but if this does take off here in January anyone have any ideas here in florida for hosting? I can look into a few things with the resort I worked at here but I mean I was hoping someone might have a house or what have you now that there is 10+ people.=)

What are Derek and Ryan's places like? Adam is your new place big man? I can look into the job I used to work at because a manager at this resort digs me ...anyhow im sure this could be a last "resort" type thing. Lets keep it open and see what everyone is working with!

Only thing thats set in stone is sometime in January and looking at the dates it looks like it wont be the first week of January because that falls on the first.

The other dates are 7th - 10th, 14th - 17th, or the 21st - 24th. Those are all 4 days for our math majors and obviously depending on where we stay, people will be welcomed to stay longer depending on the host or other reservations. I'll be available to pick anyone up after 3 on any of those beginning days and also will be able to take people to the airport as early as 5 on sunday or after 3 on sunday. Thats what I can do anyway.

Just keep this thread open and people can post what works for them in the coming months with those dates anyways. If these dates dont work for the host then the host can change the dates.

Is a Gaming house totally out of the question for everyone? Nice 5 bedroom house? Whats everyones living situation like? I know a few people recently bought houses (in the cold weather) but close to families=)
Just figured it would be nice to have a nice Florida meet every year in the winter if the interest turns out this great.

All I really need to be 100% are the dates and then I should be able to book my ticket and all. I guess it also depends how much it will cost total like if we need to rent a bigger place and take some hotel nights ect.

No word from lockwood or adam about how big their places are. otherwise we have to figure something out in the coming months so people can book their flights. This wont be as great and organized as VA but im sure we could come up with things along the way here.

I would throw in a vote for the weekend over January 16-18, as close to Orando as possible, because I have several cousins playing in the kick-it 3v3 national soccer tournament at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex... but I could probably make it before that, especially if its over a weekend

Any weekend would be fine with me. I know i'll be busy doing school work but it should be fine. I'm not sure of my schedule for Jan though, I would find it out in Dec. If You are really interested let me know. I'll look through the topic and get everyone but if you haven't posted let me know. We'd just have to figure out dates that would work best for everyone. I live about 20 mins away from the airport. My new place is big enough to fit a lot of people comfortably. But like I said i'll post more later. If anyone else has objections to dates or prefers certain dates please post them.
