As its quite sure David has retired from GoldenEye and Perfect Dark now, and he hopes himself that he wont play again I think he deserves a topic dedicated to him.

I am very impressed to what he have done, all his records and even non records are very impressive and I can only see Rayan being the only person to be a threat right now. He started of by tieing a few records, true classics are B1 SA 0:23, B1 00A 1:07, Dam 00A 1:59, Surface 2 00A 1:28 (non of wich are even his pr's anymore ) and doing so level by level almost. It requires a good patience skill + talent to do such a thing, and he turned 2nd once he have played all the levels. It was insane to see him competing with Bryan for the 1:14:59 totaltime mark wich he even won lol, and tieing most of Bryans untieds (and other ppls untieds) by eventually even beating most of them. Then the insane competition betwen him and Rayan back posting records after records like every day. And to what he did with PD was great too, tied Rayans "insane" G5 sweep noone really though anyone would touch, even beating the Agent record + the Villa Agent 1:06 + other untieds like Villa SA 1:15 and Investigation PA 2:36.

Here are a few runs that I really like of his:

Caverns SA 1:20
Dam 00A 1:58
Bunker 1 00A 1:04
Silo 00A 1:23
Silo A 1:02
Investigation PA 2:36
and more... lol

But yeah, I think David is a great guy, hes always up for giving help, he's definitely one of my best elite friends that I have given we have been talking alot since almost the beginning. I personally think that hes a great GE champ and is one of my bigger GE inspirations! Thanks for everything David, and I hope that we will talk a long time even if you dont play anymore.

It makes me very happy to see this. Thanks Henning, and everyone else who has supported me at one time or another. I think it is pretty certain this time that I am done with speedrunning. I have nothing left to contribute, even if I got another untied it wouldn't have any point. So I guess now I will just see how other people do and support them.

Very nice dedication Henning. Dave truly deserved it. He and Rayan took the game to a hole other level. His dedication, patience and skill to the game is insanely and i feel he is very strong mentally too. He's a great guy and i hope in the years to come, he will be seen as one of the greatest legends of GE and The Elite and people can enjoy his videos so he can let a little of his talent pass on to other Eliters. But you know the saying, a better player will always come around. Rayan could be back playing one day who knows? Or maybe he just doesn't care anymore. But right now, he's the only threat. Good luck with the future Clemens!

Well if this is for real then congrats and good luck, way to go out on top. I'm really happy I got to meet Dave and watch him play in his prime which was awesome to see. It's crazy to me how I'm 11th yet he's still always been on a completely different higher level than me.

Hopefully you'll still want to come to future meets!

Great Job and dedication. You'll realize how many friends you really have down the line with Goldeneye. I would say the meets are something you should definately take part in, just for the fun factor Dave. Until next time, or unless I beat your Aztec Agent time GL and be well.

Regardless, Clemens has contributed immensely to the-elite and I think we're all grateful for what he's done. I still remember him posting on the GameFAQs boards saying he thought he could get in the top 5. I was like, "Well, it's gonna be hard! Everyone in the top 50 is really, really good." Then he got Depot SA 0:44 in a day.
