As I'm sure you've heard by now, Jimbo brought a considerable amount of joy to the Elite and Kart communities in 2009 by once again attempting the "Cinnamon Challenge" during his stay in Virginia this August. If you haven't seen his attempt for yourself, here's the video:

An unqualified success! But what you may NOT have heard is that this attempt has also had a sinister backstory.

Shortly after returning home from the trip, Jim became very sick. During a week of feeling awful, he experienced the following symptoms:

a yellow pus-like discharge from the tip of the penis
stinging during urination
frequent urination
the head of the penis may turn red

After looking these up on WebMD, Jim naturally assumed that he had contracted gonorrhea. He went to see a doctor to have a full STD test done, but much to his surprise, within a few more days all of the symptoms had disappeared and Jimbo was feeling fully healthy once again.

UNFORTUNATELY, there were two more surprises laying in wait for our sensible young Mr. Barrett. One: an emormous medical bill, which arrived earlier this week, and two: the fact that his insurance company is refusing to pay for a single cent!

Now of course, Jimbo is going to have a very difficult time repaying this bill. Luckily, THIS IS WHERE YOU STEP IN! UPDATE

Some Eliters are implying that Jimbo's sickness might have something to do with his rather strange diet. However Jimbo has assured me that, even though he has never in his life eaten any of the following things:

* steak
* pie of any kind
* a Big Mac
* fish
* lobster or any other seafood
* eggs in any version besides scrambled
* chili
* ribs of any kind
* porkchops
* rice

He still maintains a perfectly healthy diet, which could not have contributed to his mysterious STD contraction.

Yeah wheat, I did. When the doctor called me and said every test was negative, I asked what the hell could have caused a 24-hour episode of gonorrhea-like symptoms, and he suggested a high intake of something very spicy or acidic..... cinnamon!

* Reese's Pieces, Peanut Butter M&Ms, Pez, Nerds, Sour Patch Kids, Candy Corn, Sprees, AirHeads, Big League Chew, Gummi Bears, Gummi Worms, Dippin' Dots
* S'mores (also never roasted a marshmallow by a campfire)
* Cheerios, Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops
* Croissants, any cheese besides America/Cottage/Cheddar, a Pretzel, Buffalo Wings (or wings of any kind), Danish (until this morning!)

anyway, what do you have lying around that you haven't used for 2 years or so or more that you can sell for $? I'm sure there's something (even I just sold something). I advocate this to everybody because you're never going to use it again and you won't regret it. (despite ngamer's claims to the contrary)

It's not your diet jimbo I don't think anybody's going to donate because you did it this to yourself and everybody should have some $ lying around for situations like this (or worse).

I promise a donation of one portrait of myself framed to Jimbo's liking (I highly recommend brushed silver) if the following conditions are met:

1. That Ngamer puts at least half as much effort into capturing the meet videos as he has making lists of things that haven't been absorbed into the black hole that is Jimbo's stomach.
2. That Jimbo promises to no longer buy cars that he doesn't need. (Ok, maybe this is asking too much. I'll be happy with 1)

The resale value on this item should be enough to cover the medical expenses, but I'm sure you'll want to just keep it.

I would strongly advise AGAINST wheat's suggestion. (Well, for video games- I'm sure you wouldn't regret selling other things you haven't used in 2 years, like a digital camera or whatever.)

Of course no one's going to donate anything, this was the world's stupidest idea and I could have easily said no and kept my dignity. I only did it because I thought there'd be no such consequences like this, heh. I have plenty to cover the bill, just am grossly against paying a cent of it (considering sending in like $20 a month) because my insurance decided to flop when it counted. I don't expect nor want any "donations" for something like this because I feel like it would be an embarrassment and Jon knows this.
