As some of you know, I was interviewing with Google for a while (not where I got a job) while also holding a Temp position at a start-up company. After 18 interviews with Google (yes, 18) I got the impression I was a small step away from actually getting hired there. It wasn't 18 jobs, but the interview process was so intense every job took a million interviews. Anyway, I got a full time offer from the start-up company as Payment Operations Analyst, up in San Francisco, and am super excited!
Company is called BOKU, a mobile payments company. We started in June this year, but that was when the BOKU company went live; they actually purchased two older companies PAYMO and Vidicom so it's not like everything started in June

Idea is when purchasing virtual goods (points for online games, like FarmVille, MafiaWars, etc.), you put in your phone number, get a text message, respond Y to purchase, and the charge appears on your phone bill.
Might seem lame to US people, but the point isn't to replace credit cards but rather to attract new customers on impulse buys who don't HAVE credit cards. Anyway,
next time you're playing a Facebook game, look for the BOKU or PAYMO buttons, and I'll look for your information to come through the transaction engine :P.
