I can read charts like this all day. I know Eddie does this same thing and so do I. You got 38 as your high and 25 as your low huh? What did you do on your run where you averaged 38?

31mpg? Pretty solid, considering how (it being California and all) you must be doing a ton of stop and go. What do you drive?

(Personally I keep a pretty close eye on my mileage, but don't track a full chart for it.)

EDIT - Also, 2.99 currently?  Dang... my last fill was at 2.54.  Think it's gone up almost a dime since then though.

Notice the 38 MPG was 11 Jun then 12 Jun. That was when I was driving up 400 miles from San Diego to San Jose, going I guess 75-80 MPH nonstop. So I guess that's what my car gets there Maybe 40 MPG at 55 then?

Yes I'd say my driving is 50% city 50% highway. Some of the more recent 25 MPG is from 100% city driving now that I'm back in the San Jose area.

I drive a 2002 civic coupe.

Gas has gone up 15 cents in the last 2 days, it dipped this week then back up, just never hit the tank when it was at 2.839 a few days ago.

I leave my house over 17 times a week. You do realize that not having a job means that people think you are doing nothing, which means people ask you to do everything for them, meaning I have to pick people up from random places, buy milk and do other hilarious chores on an average of 17 times per week.

My highest MPG I've ever gotten was 31.28, and that was pretty much non stop about 200 miles north and back. I average about 16 MPG in summer (I drive a Buick Roadmaster, Corvette V8 engine etc), and about 21 MPG in winter (small V6 engine, all city driving). I could only dream of numbers in the high 30s or 40s hehe.

Dang! Octo doesn't drive anywhere!

The first 6 months of 2009 would show me filling up 3 times a week since I had to drive to Colorado Springs 4 days a week (about 170 miles round-trip). Between June and November I was going there 3 days a week, now I'm at 2. I'm happy because I only have to fill up every 4 days now!

However, my Volvo 850 wagon averages 27mpg, which isn't too shabby for such an old/huge car. 18 gallon tank is pretty awesome too!

I bought my 2007 Scion TC on December 26 2006. I just hit 60,000 miles driving last night. So I'm averaging about 20K per year and also about 26 MPG.
