Awesome pics Adam and Jimbo! Yeah that was definitely one of the best meets yet. Virginia meets are the biggest of the year of course but side meets like these can be more fun with more freedom, i.e. can go out, drink, be loud and obnoxious etc ha. The weather was a bummer but that can never be too huge a loss considering it's still a gaming meet.

Props to Adam for finding places for 8-10 guys to sleep every night. You're a good host other than yet another VCR fail! Anyways I'll just some of my highlights too.
-winning the GE tournament, obviously. First tournament win and it felt really good cuz the tournament had VA-like intensity. Had some INTENSE matches with Adam, Greg, and Jimbo, and good crowds for just about all of them. Hell, a score of 10-8 in the deciding match of the finals says it all! Just a shame nothing was taped. But yeah beating Jimbo in a serious tournament was enough of a highlight alone for me. He was the first awesome multiplayer I ever met, back in 07 when I was 110% noob at multi, and he knocked me out in VA 08 and 09, so he was always the standard I wanted to reach, even if he's not the best anymore. Thanks for the inspiration Jimbo!

-Adam calling me Thursday night all disappointed that he got home and nobody was there yet haha. We were grocery shopping still.
-the football game, on the warmest day (50 or something, lol). I haven't played a game of football in probably 8 years or something and it was a blast. Drawing up trick plays with Jimbo was fun even though he kept overthrowing me ha. And yeah picking up that random black guy was kind of weird, but he was really cool, and fast.
-hilarious late-night Smash 64 matches with Greg, Adam, and Trent with the stipulation Adam mentioned already. I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard, I was practically crying.
-solving my Rubik's cube about 100 times during the flights there and back, in front of Jimbo and Trent. Also, I had a seat next to Trent on the way back, which we didn't even plan, which was pretty awesome (Jimbo was in front of us).
-watching Jimbo get drunk...crawling across the room in front of players during a tournament match, later on doing a random set of pushups, etc. EPIC.
-watching Jimbo, Trent, and Adam totally fail at speedruns. Doing stuff like trying to time the Trev leave on Statue perfect only to fail, or leaving Natalya early on Control and then her dying, i.e. trying to save single seconds, with the risk of losing multiple minutes, in a 25-minute competition, think about it guys

But yeah, Adam's epic tracker bug fail was possibly the single funniest moment of the meet. SEE YA TRENT...FUCK!!!!
-helping Adam and Greg on Silo, and seeing both of their PR runs. I promised them they'd both PR there! I didn't see Trent's PRs but that's pretty sweet we had 3 different players getting PRs, I felt left out but if I got Silo 1:05 or better that'd be proof-called anyways (I did try though).
-funny quote from Jimbo while boarding the flight to Orlando. Me: "I don't understand how they can overbook a flight. You have X number of seats, sell X number of tickets."...Jimbo: "And then douchebag Y comes along and ruins everything. Damn variables."

-After arriving back in Detroit, and parting ways with Jimbo (he had a connecting flight there), Trent and I saw a guy near the exit waiting to pick someone up, holding a sign that said "J Barrett"! I asked and the guy said the J was for James...how crazy is that.
Yeah so much awesome stuff, I probably didn't even mention everything. Looking forward to the next meet already.
