General Chat has been a bit of a bore lately, and even though this question is extremely generic it hasn't been done in a while and I think it will spark some mild, unoffensive discussion.  Especially with the recent advent of a few new browsers, tell me elite...

Not sure why anyone would not use Mozilla Firefox by choice! Fast, secure, great addons (linkification, adblock) and easy tabbed browsing make going back to IE and stuff a pain to ever use.

I use Opera here.  It has all the features Firefox does (mainly the multi tabs [which are easier to open and move between] and the ability to copy an image location,) but it uses a lot less of your processor leaving space for me to browse the intra-webs while running Bit Torrent, Vuze, AIM, Windows Live Messenger, Winamp, Frostwire and Windows Media Player all at once.

Google Chrome is way too dressed up with impractical features and as a result is way too laggy.  Internet Explorer is Internet Explorer.  Firefox takes too much processor and breaks way too easily.  Safari is for Macs (lol Sterling) and I only threw Netscape Navigator on there for the lulz.

I never limit myself to just one, so my answer would be some of the above plus others: Lynx, Links, or eLinks for most message boards, forums, and other sites where I don't need images; OffByOne or Dillo for general surfing without the fluff and bloat; Netscape for mail and quick html editing; and Opera or Firefox for sites such as youtube that actually "need" advanced features and plugins like Javascript, Java, shockwave flash, etc.

Firefox. But I think I will use Chrome more often, as my FF is acting weird sometimes, like using half of my memory RAM. I have to close it on the task manager or else my pc will be slow as fuck for like 1 minute. Preety gay.

When I was at Karl's house the other week Internet Explorer wouldn't load something on facebook. Installed Firefox, worked.
