Heroes vs Villains - Survivor Discussion and Fantasy Thread

Here's a fun topic to discuss the currently ongoing season of Survivor, the third "All Star" show called Heroes vs Villains!

But first, Goose and Ngamer came up with a fun game called the Survivor Fantasy Auction.  Everyone started with $50 and could bid on each of the 18 survivors who are still left in the game, with the goal being to purchase the best overall "team".  Here's how scoring will work

* 2 points if a player makes it to the merger
* 5 points if a player makes it into the Final Four
* 10 points if a player finishes in first place

Also it should be noted that is the above draft sounded interesting to you, we're going to be doing something similar for the year's March Madness bracket field.  The draft will take place on Tuesday, March 16th (the day of the play-in game for the final spot in the bracket), and we'll do it as follows:

* 16 total bidders
* $100 to spend on any of the 64 teams you want
* 1 point awarded for every game your team wins
* 1 bonus point awarded for every win that's a seeding upset of more than one seed
** (so 9 > 8 doesn't earn you the bonus point, but 3 > 1 would)

The bracket comes online Sunday night, so that gives everyone a couple days to look it over and try to smell out the upsets before Draft time.  Should be pretty fun!
