Nintendo 64 controller issue.
« on: March 26, 2010, 10:57:00 am »
Alright so I am having kind of a weird problem with my Nintendo 64..

It was working fine up untill a week ago. I didn't do anything strange or anything. What happens is.

1. I turn on my N64 with Goldeneye in the cartridge slot. Game starts and the cursor is in neutral postion.
2. I touch the control stick a little bit and the console decided to make the stick go to the opposite direction full speed.
If I move up the control stick goes full speed down and if I look down the stick goes up? Freaky shit.
3. Tried another controller in port one, same issue, tried both controllers in multiplayer. Same issue on both ports!
4. ????
5. Get NTSC Nintendo and stop gimping myself?
6. Profit?

Anyone has any advice?

EDIT: Oh yeh, same issue in perfect dark :S

one of my controllers does that too. Too bad i didn't know it didn't even say Nintendo on it and made in some lousy factory in China lol. But i asume your controller is original? Probably either something with the catridge or the console, so i would just buy a new ntsc system

yeah i bought a cheaper look alike controller on ebay that DIDN'T say nintendo on it and it did  the same thing  make sure your controllers say nintendo on them...

i smashed them and now i have zero controllers...

which is one of the reasons why i havn't played in 3 months...
