It's the finest time of the year once more. The Masters have just ended and the love of spring is in the air. This can only mean one thing;

It's one of the elite's major predicting contests! Let's have a look at the previous threads.
2009 Thread: Pittsburgh Penguins, Goose won, Team Canada won
2008 Thread: Detroit Red Wings, drag won, Team Canada won
2007 Thread: Anaheim Ducks, Come won
2006 Thread: Carolina Hurricanes, no contest
Now let's have a look at this year's matchups...
Eastern Conference
(1.) Washington Capitals vs. (8.) Montreal Canadiens [season series tied 2-2]
(2.) New Jersey Devils vs. (7.) Philadelphia Flyers [season series won by Philadelphia 5-1]
(3.) Buffalo Sabres vs. (6.) Boston Bruins [season series won by Boston 4-2]

This is how it will work;
-Predict the outcome of all eight series in the form of Winner (games played)
-This will be repeated at the end of each round until the finals, where you will also predict the Conn Smythe Trophy winner for a bonus
-You get 3 points for a correct team prediction, and 5 points if you get the right team and right amount of games played
-Highest score wins
-Team Canada/USA possibilities to be discussed later
Jon "Ngamer" Bearder has agreed to post his rendition of "O Canada" while wearing nothing but a towel by Wednesday, April 14 at 7:00pm or he will be banned from the elite boards until he posts it. Coincidentally, this is the same deadline your predictions are due.
Get busy predicting guys!
