Habs are my new 2nd favs. First they win me $$ by knocking off the Caps (a team I hate only because I have a friend who is a huge fan and will never shut up about how awesome they are). Then they knock off my most hated team, proving what a bunch of bandwagon fans the Pens have when half the arena doesn't even stick around for the handshake and team salute FOR THE DEFENDING STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS IN THE FINAL GAME OF A DECADES-OLD ARENA. And I give too much credit by saying "handshake" and "salute". They were out of there with 3 minutes left IN THE GAME! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL PENS FANS. YOU SUCK.

They had "Best Fans in Hockey" written on their ice a couple years ago during the whole Kansas City ordeal

And if you want more proof that the Versus/NBC coverage is insanely biased, look at the end of that game. The announcers were acting like they were at a funeral.

I'm actually pretty disgusted right now. I mean, I don't hate the Canadiens and I am in no way a Penguins fan, but as a hockey guy in general Montreal does NOT deserve to be where they are right now.

I know Alex Â but from 1995-2003, other than one year where Dallas won, all the cups were won by either of New Jersey, Colorado or Detroit. Â Those teams were just so much better than any other teams during that era.

yeah i saw that on tv yesterday. I found it pretty funny. I honestly think i would like chicago if it wasnt for kane and byfuglien. the 2 players i dislike the most in the nhl, on the same line as toews who grew up like 2 streets down from me lol

Byfuglien is fine and I like him, but I have problems with Kane. I think all Canadians do. But in these playoffs Kane has been alright so I guess I can support Chicago given their Canadian youth awesomeness.

On the other hand, despite every NHL's team's fans hating Philadelphia in one of their top 5 most hated teams in the league, the Flyers have a solid, respectable squad this year with Canadians Richards, Gagne, Briere, Pronger, Carter, Hartnell, Coburn and even some good non Canadians like Van Riemsdyk and Timonen. Who doesn't love the Michael Leighton and Brian Boucher story? And Laviolette holding and supporting a crying Carcillo on the bench every game is one of the best images of the entire playoffs.

We can't count out Montreal yet. If they win Game 5, they will win Game 6 and then Game 7 is anybody's for the taking.
