As much as I want to see a Montreal-Boston ECF, I really think Philadelphia now has a great chance at a SCF run and I'm starting to like the team more and more. Even though there are some dickheads like Hartnell and Carcillo, they are nothing compared to Patrick Kane, Ryan Kesler, Matt Cooke, etc.

Pitts in 5 - Caps games were too early to catch on TV on the West, but from what I can tell, Montreal stole that one. Back to Earth
Bruins in 6 - Know nothing about these guys this season, I'll go with home ice
Wings in 7 - Gotta root for them Sharks, but 0-3-1 against the Wings in the regular season isn't leaving me too confident.
Hawks in 6 - Almost looked down and out until the miracle game 5. I still think they are the cup favorite, built for the playoffs. Plus I don't know squat about Van except they've got some bros who are p. good :P

Wow, I may have been very off on my first round preds but I can't say I'm displeased with the overall results!

Round 2:

Habs in 6. (thanks for getting rid of the caps, do me a favour and get rid of the pens too. They're the only roadblock let to the cup finals. With Halak playing like he is, they definately have a chance. Fleury's been sub-par this year)
Bruins in 5. (LOL Flyers. History was about the only thing on their side vs the Devils, who only choked due to superstition. Savard back for Boston = instant victory)

Blackhawks in 6. (LOLuongo makes his mandatory appearance, Sedins keep it semi-close)
Red Wings in 5. (XFD Sharks long overdue for their annual failure, kind of dissappointed the 'yotes aren;t here though)

Spacek still out for tonight. I wouldn't mind having him instead of Bergeron at the blue-line, he's definitely more consistent. Sergei Kostitsyn didn't even show up at the practice this morning. He'll get suspended without salary for sure. No coach ever used him correctly up to now, hopefully we'll get something out of him on July 1st.

It's the Penguins, obv. It's not just some crazy conspiracy that they a) get more calls and b) get away with more penalties. It's been well documented and studied across the hockey blogosphere. I'm just waiting for a major media outlet to pick up the story, because the numbers are out there.

I have to admit Youse, when Philadelphia does that intro, it's one of the greatest in hockey.

Montreal's intros are always insane, Chicago's are great too. Vancouver is always solid and Philly is right up there.

as much as i try not to hate the blackhawks, its hard not to with some of the ugliest players to ever play in the nhl. along with kane, the biggest douche bag in the nhl. at least toews is very respectable
