If there's a confusion with the scoring for those of you scoring at home, let me explain. If a game ended in a tie and went into penalty kicks (like the uruguay-ghana game yesterday), I gave one point to you for either picking the winner (Uruguay 1-0 Ghana), or picking the winner after PKs (Uruguay 0-0 Ghana, Uruguay wins PKs).

Hopefully everyone's satisfied with the extra points. Looks like there will be a big competition for 3rd place in preds!

10 points for each i think. So basicly if Germany wins, you or Wiff have a pretty good chance for winning it all! And SZ and AZ said Netherlands, so i doubt QB can win this!

Hmmmm, how does 5 points for WC winner and 10 points for Golden Boot winner work out for people? I figure that it's easier to pick a tournament winner (Clear favorites and all) than it is to pick a golden boot winner, because it means he needs to not only be the best goal scorer, but ALSO needs his team to go pretty deep into the tournament. These point totals can be nerfed to say 3 for the winner, 7 for the boot winner if that's preferred.

Golden Boot winner needs to be worth at least 25 points because of how big the field is to pick from. It's simply silly to give the outright winner and Golden Boot winner prediction only 2 points more value than picking the score of a Germany vs. Australia game... I mean really.
