Being a statistician, I think of death as a the "minimum" of a ton of random variables than can kill you. As in, the first random event that goes against your favor, you die. You roll the dice millions of time in your life. Driving a car, walking across the street, getting in an airplane, swimming in a lake, walking around the streets at 3:00 AM... Also it is quite random when you may get cancer, have a heart attack, liver disease, stroke, etc. A lot is culture, economics, genetics, lifestyle, etc., but it's all still random.
You can do things to help stack the odds of those random events in your favor. But that doesn't change the fact that they are still random. Yes, what people have listed in this topic help the populations' life expectancy. But that's billions of data points. You get one shot at life, and from the number of friends and family I have known to die well before their time, and scumbags still walk this earth, you can't take anything for granted or really expect to have any sort of control whatsoever about how long you'll live.
I live a healthy life because I feel like crap when I'm not. I exercise because it helps my moods, anxiety, etc. I sleep 8 hours a day so I enjoy the next day more. I avoid caffeine, drugs and alcohol in excess because they make me feel like shit. I don't smoke because it's fucking disgusting. I don't do any of that to live longer, I do it to enjoy today and hopefully tomorrow even more.
But god willing, I hope I live to 80+
