Yeah Tyler, because i spend about 24 hours a day writing posts in this forum. Never mind all the bullshit i said though, i believe Jesus died for our sins and is the son of a god in human form who gets mad and is emotional at times just like us, someone that is not a mere reflection of our own animal minds at all. I know that the great promoter Paul promoted this story long after Jesus' time and is much more responsible for the Christian religion than Jesus is, but i blindly believe it anyway. It is wonderful. I can already feel the love of Jesus sprouting inside me. Actually i'm going to blindly believe in every religion in it's tradional form to make sure i get a free pass to heaven.
I'm not trying to belittle you, i just can't make sense of "your" religion as it is currently interpreted and believed by the majority. So if you want to help a brother out i'm listening. I am open minded, i will accept something that is backed up by the evidence.
Wheat, you actually make one good point, it's part true, but you missed something, and i can show why with my usual, almost flawless logic. You'd be right if you said you could never get rid of pain and suffering in mankind. It will always exist in the species of mankind because it is not in the nature of mankind to live together in peace and harmony, they never did and never will. Mankind's true nature is still the nature of the beast, the lower evolved instinctual part of the mind. People can and do resist it, but it cannot be changed by resisting and repressing it. I'm only saying that pain and suffering can be eliminated, not that we can get rid of it in mankind. Let me remind you that evolution is an ongoing process, that mankind is not the climax of creation. Mankind is a process, a bridge, a very new and temporarily life form that started about 10.000 years ago when humans began to speak language which allowed our minds to hook up with the collective unconscious on a level that allowed the evolution of our species to accelerate in an exponential, geometric progression.
Mankind will never live together in peace, but pain and suffering can be eliminated. Mankind will go no matter what. Either we will consciously evolve into a new life form, or let our greed destroy most of the race and set us back a few thousand years. Either way, mankind will go. It is not something that is out of the ordinary. It is something we have done many times since the very first life on this planet that we descendant from. We can do it again and we are not left with another choice than to do so anyway. Mankind has become too intelligent. A lot of power with no wisdom is such a dangerous combination (modern nuclear weapons) People make sure to make each other think that everything will be just OK, that we are too intelligent to let it happen. It has nothing to do with intelligence. It takes intelligence to make an atomic bomb, but it is not very wise. (In case you were wondering about mankind evolving into a new life form, Man is the only animal that can evolve without changing bodies, aka evolve non biological. We can give birth to ourselves, become the son of our minds, the offspring of our creation. Lower animals are stuck with the perspective they have, but mankind can greatly improve theirs by learning the truth of life because of our evolved minds)
OHMSS, "this online cultic not-even-pseudoscientific excuse of a religion" you should check things out for yourself before you claim anything. You are just saying what everyone else here is saying without having checked it out for themselves. What i see is just the parasite effect, the monkey see monkey do effect, or just merely assumptions that comes natural to mankind. Anyway, my answer is simple. There is no point in getting into anything other than the truth of life and death, nothing else really matters. Not that i don't do other things and that they are not good for me, but the truth is 1st. priority. If it wasn't, other things i am doing would just be distracting and misleading. I have an infinity to do all things you can think of in life. Fix your inner environment in the deep walls of your mind, and the outer environment automatically falls into place. People are trying to live life without knowing at all how it works, are not interested in the simple fundamental laws of life/the universe and as a result don't even get a taste of how it is to experience true life, riding up and down on the rollercoaster, a victim of the balance, going from one extreme to another that gives them no chance to get off the wheel. What goes around comes around as the saying goes. You speak of doing things that will be appreciated, things that mankind would be interested in and not run away from. That would just set me back into deep depression, knowing that i am just going along and don't have the courage to stand out and say things as they really are and where mankind is really heading. I don't want to do things that will be appreciated, i would never think of selling out and accept the fucked up society as it currently is.
You and Cara said you think i'm an intelligent person. Don't think i'm here for any appreciation or any form of attention, so spare your words. Nor am i here to convince anyone what i say is true, i do it for other purposes which i have mentioned before and which people didn't understand yet. Everything i do is indirectly for myself. What you guys said is well-intentioned, but false. I'm not an intelligent person, i'm just an honest and rational guy, something much more rare, and i do not need that to be confirmed by others as well, it is something i have been aware of for quite some time now. There are a lot of walking encyclopedias out there who can do complex math, speak a language perfectly, memorize The Bible without knowing it's true meaning. People that know a million things, but do not know the simple truth of life, the only thing that matters. Information that hurts them more than it helps. Chasing useless knowledge and use it to hide from the truth of life. Intellectuals will be the last to see the truth. It does not take an intelligent being to know the simple fundmental laws of life/the universe, but you need to be very honest. As i said earlier, any intelligent fool could build an atomic bomb, but it is not very wise to do. As i always say, Mankind: an ocean of information and knowledge, but not a single drop of wisdom. It is not even a coincidence that Jesus was against the scribes (the writers and scholars in ancient times) and said that you must see life like a child to enter heaven. You might have noticed that life is much more fulfilling for children and that time went much slower from your perception when you were little (wink wink) they have less mind-block and are actually much more aware of life, until they get mind tainted too, reach the age of about 10 when the mind really starts to grow and take over people's life.
What Cara was looking for to say was "I actually believe Marc is a very honest and rational person, but there is a difference between rational and intelligent. Cara, i was comparing you to a parasite metaphorically (not literally) like described in the video from the court scene, because you're pretty much saying what everyone else here is saying, don't take it personal. If you got the impression that i deeply hate you that is untrue, but your post honestly made me sick at the time i read it. They are merely assumptions and i see the intention behind it. "Now it's too late to save him, yay" etc. I'm aware that i've said a lot of bullshit in the past, but i didn't know any better and the past might be the place where you have your current "theory" from on the current me. A time that is dead and no longer exists, merely memories that are saved bio-chemically in your brain.
Karl's post is not worth much of a reply. The road to hell is paved with good intentions as an old saying goes. Being a semi-good, semi-good moral character, well behaved animal who represses the beast is not enough. There is only one thing to say. That you have about the same level of awareness that Goose has, that you fit right into society. Pretty much all of the human race are semi-insane which is why you can function with other people. You function with people with about the same level of awareness as yours.
I advise anyone to not worry about me, but thanks. Things will go a hell lot faster on this planet when people will be concerned about saving their own asses. Mankind's only real goal is to be fulfilled by life, all the time. It is as simple as that. Anything else would be pointless. You just have know how it works first and how to do it.
