I was on suicide watch all day after that game, I knew the formula for beating the Packers would be Cover 1 and very few pass rushers getting home to the quarterback, and GUESS WHAT HAPPENED?!
Congrats to Tyler landing those tickets, he now joins me in the exclusive club of witnessing "the most epic game of all time"! Actually, Ngamer probably belongs in there too, but that's irrel!
Anyway, suicide averted, I forgot that a 49ers loss tonight (very possible) still secures home field advantage, then we get 4 straight home games (plus bye week) at Lambeau, phew.
EDIT: Doesn't help that our defense didn't win a single one-on-one battle, and Capers' schemes got owned by a reasonably intelligent quarterback who knew what was happening. I was 50% convinced we were going to win that game after the final frantic TD drive because Crosby was 4/4 in his last few onside-kick attempts, but that kick had ZERO bounce to it and we stood no chance. People are honestly questioning McCarthy not kicking it away but people fail to realize that a FG try there still only puts them up by 8 and we can tie it on the final drive. Whatever, so many streaks came to an end yesterday

BTW: Drew Brees has
4780 yards with 2 games to go, and is easily going to shatter Dan Marino's 5084 yards he put up in 1984.
EDIT 2: Jermichael Finley will NOT return as a Packer next year, I've never seen someone go from ULTRA CLUTCH to COMPLETE BUTTER HANDS in one season, yet Rodgers STILL forced it to him in every situation!
