that fast trill is easy to hit consistent for me on same old song and dance. I just use my 2/3 fingers.. i just tap as fast as i can with the 3 finger and hit it 95% of the time. it doesn't matter if you tap the 3 finger 10 times even if there is only 8 notes or whatever you will still hit them all.

fc'd she bangs the drums anyways.

Yeah, I strum, hammer on the first 3 times slowly as I bring my right hand over then use my right hand and tap as fast as I can, then quickly go back to strum the next note.  My only problem is stopping too early.

randomness reports from the last while I never wrote in..

414K take this life - I've got the "green" part of the chorus down, but the red I get off on?  I also need to learn to get the 4th SP, that really fast sixteenth.  If I could do that... well heck then its FC it all but the chorus!

450K knights - I watched a vid, I lose 10K on the first tremolo, 15K on the second, and *40K* on the third.  Wtffffff

346K pride and joy - FINALLY got a decent run.  What was it, a couple of random mistakes, there are like 3 trill sections I can't hit and 2 more that I rarely do.  Also one unncessary error in this run.

289K rock you like a hurricane - this is just so fun!  100/93/96% solos.  The 93.. was lame, I missed once in the trills, but then like 5 straight notes in some scale which I shouldn't have.  The outro I always mess up the 23235 23232 232321 fast thing.  I dunno, its like the damn SP that I'm 100% on but I can't hit this?  I'm adding this to my "eventually FC" list though, as I've now reduced this song to 1 part that I've never even practiced.  I wont try for it right now, obv =)

291K re-FC can't be saved - eh, still sucks

edit - oh yeah, 22,714,000 24th wii 177th overall

just five starred the way it ends with no SP usage... i can't believe how this kinda level just "clicks" and bam you got it. so neo you better just put yourself through practice mode a couple times a day and you will gain soo many more points

FC #38 - Same Old Song and Dance

Same Old Song and DanceWii18th120th213,668 (7.3)100%626

Really quite awful score for FC, as I let go of holds early and my whammys are sub-par.  However good enough for me, I'm not good enough to be re-FCing these difficult songs for scores like apparently 100 people ahead of me lol.

This was my 3rd try today, if you don't count the 4 or so I messed up right away getting used to the slide timing again.  I was very nervous during the middle of the song (easy part) but once the last SP came around and I somehow hit it, my nerves went away.  Hit the tapping part, and then the very outro I just concentrated real hard.  Was stoked when it was over!!

Welcome to the JungleWii46th354th337,648 (7.7)99%444
Just a few tries, this had -2 in some random verse, then -1 in the fast chords during SP at the end of the song.  I hate hearing this song, and the verses are so obnoxious to play, then theres STILL 2 more landmines for mistakes.  I will treat this like SOSAD, and play it a few times per day until I get this FC

My CurseWii28th173rd373,572 (7.5)99%766
Eh... I activated the 2nd to last SP really early and missed what.. a good 3-5K in points.  This was a -6 run.  I'm slowly getting the hang of how to hit those darn hammerons, and tried this a few more times - all my runs are right around this level when I mess up so I just abort once I get to the last 700 notes (easy part).  I fully expect to FC this eventually, however am not seriously going for it yet, I'll wait until a random play and it suddenly has clicked.

School's OutWii41st266th161,863 (7.4)100%441
Kingpin was asking me about this solo, so I re-FCed this to get the rivalry record (by a strong margin, too).  I missed a whammy, and my middle activation missed 400 points.  Though I think it worked itself out on the other end, as my whammy would have left me short anyway.  The solo took me 4 attempts this time, though I have a semi-consistent method, I remember the fingering here was really lame for some of us...

For those interested in squeezing, this is the new "easiest squeeze" in the game.  Get the first 2 SPs and make sure you get full whammy on it (only one note).  To get full whammy just hit the note early, and hold it pretty late.  Then, tilt guitar up to insta-activate after the second phrase, and just wait a decent amount of time to hit that first note, really easy.  Then at the very end is 2 eight note chords, basically just hit them BAM BAM moderately quickly and you'll be all set.

FC #39 - The Seeker

3The SeekerWii27th181st340,637 (8.2)100%760

This was SO easy.  I played it once and lost miserably, despite remembering to end on downs I always end on ups.  So genius me decided to start some of the passages on ups instead of downs.  Then it all felt natural - FC first try!  Bad SP use, ended up a very poor FC actually, like bottom 20% of FC scores.

Then decided to go for a quick 40 and.. failed

HelicopterWii36th215th347,984 (7.7)99%561

I did it again and also got 347,5xx with a -1.  both times the mistakes were very early in the yellows - before a note even changed.  I'm baffled.  So I tried going faster the next run, and made it into the oranges... then started messing up each transition.  No clue what is going on, so I think maybe I'll try starting this on an up, going a BIT faster to start, then going as normal from there...  lol.  I just don't see how I can start on a down, and end on a down, watching the meter bars at all time and get a -1 that wasn't over a note transition.  Too fast means I should also miss the last note, as would too slow... I'd overstrum or understrum or something to finish it off...  Weird.  Anyway, I'll probably take the outro to pratice tomorrow (everybody snickers, as if I wont play again today.  HA!  i'm leaving now ) until I get it then go to real runs again.

22,750,000 has been breached!

I think I'll be able to push for 11th - there is a huge gap between 23,170 (11th) and 23,500 (10th) so yeah...  Don't see why I wont be able to end up in that gap eventually, as I'm still having SO much fun playing this game.

Though, I guess the # of tracks I play is still shrinking, so maybe that'll change in the future, as I'm down to 31 non FCs.

coming up, I hope...

Helicopter (lol EZ)
Welcome to the Jungle (this is just annoying, but I've done it all many times)
Rock n Roll All night Long (end of solo is harder than anticipated!)

then the ones that are all going to happen, just not in the near future..

Before I Forget
Black Sunshine
Cities on Flame
Mauvais Garcon
Go That Far
I'm In the band
Heir Kommt Alex
My Curse

Is 50!!!  I really think its doable 50 FCs.  Nothing on that list is absurd, IMO.

Oh yeah, I did stricken solo in practice mode today and got the first 139 notes I think.  It was to the very end of the 2nd main part, flying all over the 2-5 range.  Then I totally sucked at the very last part of it.  Eh :-/.

I made a nice purchase today, but fucking youtube is down...

I got a splitter / amplifier for component cables and now, when I'm bothered to set it up, record every run I play.

So far, I have..

442,000 Take this Life PR
278,500 Minus Celcius Re-FC
487,000 TTFAF (*ridiculously* good up till grinding scales, for me, then it fell apart)
and an awful 468,000 The Way it Ends.  The only reason I kept "the way it ends" is b/c i started with my usual 300 note streak to hear the strumming, then I basically FCed the entire solo.  Each of the last 2 fast parts I messed up on the last 2-3 notes.

I record video direct line from the splitter, but take audio from a microphone, so it picks up my strums louder than the TV.  I feel if you want to watch a FC video might as well go watch Priest, so now you can hear my strumming.

I did my curse, and FCed until intro-revisited.  Then I got -1 on one of those double blue strums, and held that into the next intro revisited.  THEN MISSED THE SP!?!?  Was recording / talkin to my roommate, etc., would have been a ridic run, basically -5K off of a FC so 388,000 I bet, and then.. just quit there.  This song is so FCable now, I tried a few more times and really fudged it up too.

Anyway, not much progress today, sorta just messing around on old levels to try to get fun captures.  I'm running out of levels and only have a few more days left before spring break - made the purchase for when Ricky is out and we can record a ton of stuff.

That's the difference between here and MK as far as technology...I'm pretty sure I've had to explain like 25 people how to just record by any method, if I tried to tell them what a splitter/amplifier was, they'd have no clue at all...cool that you're technologically capable, The-Elite!

Minus Celcius FC : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kG8Bl9n-HM

TTFAF 487,000 89% : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Tmk_FUjOgY&feature=user

Take This Life 442,000 97% : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62M5d5JAYEA&feature=user

The Way it Ends 46x,xxx : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNEZJm3RZlI&feature=user

Minus Celcius is good for SP path...
TTFAF was *pathetic* grinding scales
Take this Life was a PR by 25K
The way it ends is good for the first 300 notes and the solo to hear my fingers/strumming

I just got my third FC just now on When You Were Young, with like 277k also, but I am going to redo it right now because I muxed up the 3rd SP by activating it on that GB chord run instead of waiting to get a 3rd section before activating...GRR

Just did these for fun today - I also went for "She bangs the drums" and was squeezing very well, etc., but kept messing up random parts.  Neo's score is very strong, and I'll be sure to get a good video together with some fun commentary.

Also got a -2 In Love video that was 270K, so 280K possible, I'll get a run on video for fun with some commentary/advice... maybe some other time, as I'm packing to go home!

i just got a rubber band pingin it back.. problem sorted, but it's lost a lot of whammy in it, but it doesn't matter too much because you only need to turn the SP holds blue.

hey flash.. what's an amplifier and a splitter? lol

Instead of using a rubber band, I recommend using the spring, by anchoring it to the one end of the white clip and the other end you should cut a tiny little notch in the black part of the whammy plastic where the tab broke off (I'm assuming your problem was like mine) then hooking the spring right there...I was afraid a rubber band would bust off. (I took it apart...it's not clear if you have or not)

To describe a splitter/amplifier, I can use a basic description. Say you were playing a 2 player game of (Insert game here) and you had 2 TVs. So you hook up your game system and you want to make it show up on both TVs so the two people can't see each other's controllers, say...so you would plug in the Audio/Visual output cord that normally goes to the TV, well you would plug it into this and it would have TWO ports of the same thing going out, so you can put it on both TVs. The amplifier part is to keep the signal at the original strength, since if you split it in two, naturally each part would only have half the power as before.

The reason Phil is using this method to record his vids is (I'm assuming) because if he were to run his A/V through his recorder on its way to the TV it would be lagging because he's using some digital form of recording, so by splitting it he is able to have a straight through connection to the TV and record at the same time without lag. This is a common problem if you would be using a DVR type device to record.

Correct.  I use a capture card on my computer, and to watch it on my computer as it records is a 3 inch screen with variable lag, so calibrating doesn't work.

I run the videogame into the splitter/amplier, and then run that to both my TV and the computer.  Then I run a microphone from my computer and set it up between me and the TV so you can hear strumming.  I'd like more TV volume - but the cord lengths are funky.  Anyway, I just click record every run, and if I liked it, I compress the video to 292 kbps and keep the original audio, this takes about 1 minute.  Then I just go back into capture mode.  I am able to restart the capture process during loading times, so its really not an inconvenience.

Takes me about 2 minutes to set up the cords, as they have to run across my bed, but whatever.

When Infil is out, I'll bring my computer/TV downstairs, have it set up much better, the mic will be better placed, and we'll get a lot of different games recorded without having to mess around with a VCR (that I don't have).

I ended up re-FCing a few songs before taking off for spring break, including 15th place on the Wii on "She bangs the drums" and I squeezed a few ticks (10 ticks = 40 points) out of "Generation rock."  Missed the 400 point squeeze though.

cheers for the explanation flash but i dont really want to mess with my guitar too much.. the rubber band is fine for now,

just fc'd even flow 2x in a row

avalancha first try and sunshine of your love a couple days ago

Im more consistent it's weird. after a break my fingers are not hurting anymore and they are faster. also i was messing around on HS4 for a while i play far worse but, when i changed it back to HS2 it seemed slow. and now I can hit awkward solos consistently... i was getting that SP phrase on nothing for me here solo pretty much everytime

Before I forget..... fuck you, i got a -1 in the bridge.. I can fc this. I am sure I can do it next aswel. my score falls at 37th place octo is 32nd ... i got 535586 octo got 540866

still felt good to rip the rest of the song apart though. i am gonna stop playing I'm suppose to be seeing this girl

Okay I'm finally going to start playing a lot again, I want to get those last 6 5stars I still have never gotten. Yesterday I gained about 70k on One, 30k on NotB, 4k on Cliffs of Dover (Dang, only like 10k from 5star), 70k on Before I Forget (Should be able to get this one today), 20k on Knights of Cydonia. So my hands (both) were killing me, because I played about 2 hours on just Knights, Before I Forget, and Raining Blood, and my fretting hand was like limp and unresponsive from playing Before I Forget so many times, but now the only parts I'm shaky with are the Bridge (no chance of keeping combo haha) and I like 1/2 the time miss the 124 -> 45 chord change at the end of each little section of 3note chords...just not quite quick enough yet but gotten better. On Knights, I'm like strumming my arm off, keep getting longer and longer combos on it, and I started getting streaks of 100 instead of 30-40 on the whole end part.

Yay! Finally got 5stars on Before I Forget...still don't have the hand strength built up hardly to play it since I haven't played hard for a month until the last two days but I figure once my hand gets back into fretting form I'll be able to pop on an additional 100k to this score: 315827 heh! Only got the 5star by about 1000 points...of course if you consider that yesterday my high score on the song was 216k, it seems like a decent improvement...on SH I have now got 50 5stars, and only 5 left to do on the main list. Tier 8 and Knights...on Cliffs I just keep messing up in the middle of combos otherwise that one'd be easy. Same with NotB, I finally figured out the speed to strum the whole beginning part yesterday but now I just keep breaking combo on the long streaks...I still only have 3stars on Raining Blood...I don't think I'll be able to 5star that for quite some time.

Since I was extremely bored tonight, I actually played GH3... which I pretty much hate at this point since my cherry SG + GH2 >>>> GH3 + lame songs + crappy frets on controller.

Anyway, only good thing that really came out of the night was
Pride and Joy 338k.  -4, and it was a pretty crappy SP path. 9/12! lol
FC'ed the outro of Cherub Rock first try, but had already missed elsewhere.
440somethingK on Holiday in Cambodia, hit the first 2 SP's actually, but didn't know the path so it was random. 1000 note streak though

You guys remember that replacement disk thing I sent in for a month ago? Not only did I get a free replacement disk, but today I got another thing in the mail. (I got the disk back weeks ago)....I GOT A FREE FACEPLATE in the mail, didn't do anything or make any request or anything, just got a box from Red Octane and in it is a GH3 Wii faceplate, absolutely free...it was in the retail box like you'd find at a store. So cool!!!

Woo!! Now I only have raining blood left to 5star on the regular list...believe it or not this was improvement from 335k, and it was my first time of playing the song today!! But I failed twice on the solo before I passed it because I didn't get any SPs for it but this time I had 2 SPs so I passed the solo and then I was like oh man I hope I get 5star lol...now I got to learn at least 2 sections of Raining Blood pretty good to get a 4star maybe....I don't know about 5star yet on that one.

I only have Raining Blood left to five star.. so If I were you i'd start tackling the bonus songs setlist. try to 5* all those apart from ttfaf obviously

I think this guys Friends code (wii) number that you sent me last night is pointless without him knowing mine? I dunno how it works. Cheers tho bud

Prayer of the refugee FC first try. fucked up SP path though so landed a 356.6k could have easily gained another 10 or 15k or so, had I used the SP on all the triple chords.

May aswel try for Minus Celsius now

edit: minus celsius another day cuz im playing bad at that song at the mo.

anyway... re-fc'd Prayer of the refugee first try AGAIN, only played it twice today aswel. improved my score a lil 364k still guessed the SP path though. that's moved me up to 99th in the ranks on the wii now. sooo im gaining on bcutsdeep slowly but surely 17places behind him at the mo. there are still a couple of songs where i'm a good 60k behind him on some songs though.
like hier kommt alex... im looking at you.

I'm not really in the mood to play anymore today though. I got 1 FC im happy about that. and i moved up about 20places to the top 100, so i'm gonna call it quitsy for now.

edit2: i didn't quit in the end had another go. played Paint it black once and got 100% but an overstrum. so that will be my next FC i'm sure. just have to look an SP path up before I go for the fc though

SP path for paint it black is pretty tough - memorize it and study it well, maybe watch a video. Most of the activations are weird and I screwed up SO many runs with mistimed activations If you FC it with path, should end up with a good score. A few whammy spots - downstrum it and whammy, good stuff. Your overstrum was in the triplet 3-chords toward the end, I imagine? When you look up SP, count off the chords.. down up down up down up.. etc and see when you should pause, and what you should then end on, and you should get it first try. However if you downstrum that faster part, its no big deal.

You are telling me that the SP path for paint it black is tough to remember!!!!! agreed.

I have pretty much given up on alt strumming like pretty much all of Number of the Beast/Mavais Garcon/Miss Murder, I only alt strum ttfaf/knights of cydonia etc.etc now. Yesterday I found another 130k between Mavais Garcon and Number of the beast just because I switched to downstrumming. It's not even tiring at all for me anyway. I'm consistent at alt strumming short passages but I lose my rythm with longer sections. So yeah I downstrum paint it black triple chords but still overstrummed I'm pretty sure I won't make that mistake again though. I think.

Im gonna be playing that later on tho. I have to go do some work at the mo. Cheers for the post, appreciated.

I used to hate Knights of Cydonia but i'm finding it kinda fun lately, now I can combo the majority of it that is. also the mad ho-po section is easy for me to combo now. the blue ho-po always used to mess me up but i'm used to it now.

I really have to take time to learn the "Schools out" solo 2 aswel it's just a matter of timing for me I think. FC'd it twice in practice mode then went for the real run and messed up again, so I didn't try more than once. but there are still a couple songs that look easily fcable. I really have to improve my hier kommt alex score, but seriously the alt-strum part that comes up twice is my biggest weakness ever!

205k on Raining Blood first try yesterday so with a little bit of work I think I can pull off the five star. Then I am just going to play ttfaf non-stop, i'm keeping up nice streaks now I got a 390k yesterday with only 1 star power to keep me from failing, I still can't get through the tough solo sections without it. although a couple of times, I wondered if I ever needed SP to get through it! everytime I try without it though I DO fail. At least I get past the intro almost everytime now sometimes i even break my combo on the intro a few times but manage to pull it together fairly quickly. I never realised the whole key to it was just the elbow strumming + the timing.

edit - FC'd Schools out took a few attempts.. damn you solo2.
and on top of that I thought I'd re-fc Sunshine of your love because I only did it online and it was pissing me off that there was no gold stars on my profile... so I did, and I ended up getting a score of 9th!!!!!!! place.... it's ahead of NickOfTime and some other really amazing players... I made sure I got proof of this though just incase. I ended up with 266747... which is 77th on all systems.

Darn...just about got FC on this one.  I played a few bonus songs for 5star today and got about 4 of them on my first try from a 3/4star to a 5star...now up to 57 5stars total.  Many of the ones I have left will take some work...so I decided to just start going for some FCs since I have WAY fewer than I should.

I played just for fun for a while tonight.  ReFC a ton not many high scores...  Just dinking around.  I did run across...

Don't Hold BackWii25th165th314,942 (7.1)99%619Mar. 31, 2008, 1:19AMFC phazer 2!!!

As my comment indicates, I not only 100% the second Phazer section, I didn't ovestrum!  I had -4 in the first Phazer, but lasted well over halfway through it.  My score is.. awful, TBH.  Should be top 100 all systems and top 15 Wii, I'm using my own SP path that I thought would be better for missing the Phazers (5-4-S1, missing the 5th of the 5, its phazer 1), I dunno I'm a solid 10K behind everybody else whose comment is FUCK overstrum phazer I!!  etc.

Still fun to hit, get a moderate score and didn't choke the end of the song!

I nearly re-FCed same old song and dance first try, -1 in the final SP, forgot how the strums go.  Nailed the tapping up to it.  457K TTFAF first try, eh was pretty fun all around, I doubt I'll play again for a while though as going for scores is a bit dry.

IM me if you wanna do online, I always just love playing songs

I only been playing ttfaf today I want to try and beat the song without any SP... it's a tough bunch of solo's though my fingers are just slowing down as I tense too much. but i'll do it. Would be fun to just beat the song first try every try, which is what i'm doing at the mo ttfaf is the first song I play now.

I Don't know about playing you tho octo.. you are 25th.. and probably even higher up now! lol :P
But since you don't care if you kick my ass by a decent amount I can give you an online match ANYTIME! just let me know when you are free.

I played someone online the other day and I fc'd 3 songs in a row against him, he must have thought I was hellashes or something. First it was Mississippi Queen, then even flow, then Avalancha lol... I thought I'd sure mess up on avalancha but never use SP anymore against online matches because I found it just makes people quit. I just go for fc's and always let my SP go at the end of the round to make a point I was messing with them:)

The Seeker Tutorial:

Part 1 (Bridge 2): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wqsbj2Dpm2c
Part 2 (Bridge 1): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGHHjFu5kUk

I did them in reverse because, in all reality, you SHOULD practice bridge 2 first.  Its just me talking about strategy, and if you want to try to FC the song give them a listen, or if you just want to hear my voice.. listen as well!

3 mistakes, and baaad last activation.  I will FC this song eventually - but can't try more than few times per day

Else just had some fun, FC La Grange solo in practice mode (whole song without intro from start to finish, might as well be a 3rd FC of it) on video but decided not to upload it as it wasn't a real run.

AvalanchaWii16th82nd425,468 (7.5)100%969Mar. 31, 2008, 11:27PM<3 this SP path

Is my 2nd best score, on both Wii and overall, behind Black Magic Woman, obv.

I did everything close to perfect, for me, basically, its just such a fun song to re-FC b/c the path is simply genius.  No video, packed that stuff up, but NickOfTime has a good video of the path, its not on the forum I don't think.  It involves activating when a SP phrase begins, and using the whammy of a phrase then activating MID-SP phrase!!, so sweet lol.  Such a great song too, I just turned it on and ran through it 3 times.  -8 or something ridic, then 423400, and that score.

Played a few matches online - won 6-0 obv and FCed even flow, nearly la grange (dude, one note was strummed I SWEAR normally isn't.. so weird), and avalancha.  Only played half of minus celcius cus he sucked, 270K cliffs and 204K raining blood..  my RB was like 270K pace, I hit the verse SP and everything, then totally botched the chorus, basically stayed in 2x all those chords instead of 8x lol.  ANYWAY, improved my 2nd best score:

Avalancha15th74th425,976 (7.6)100%969

Believe it or not, its closing in on my Black Magic Woman score!  hehe.  My activations weren't even perfect, I'm gonna go for another 1,000 on this song over the next while just because I FC it literally every time I play, improve every time I play, and its such a great track and note chart.

Lol so... 5* TTFAF on hard...  just messing around.  I go to expert and start scrolling around and decide to play another game so I mute the TV.  I turn it back on and click a few times to get things moving again and ACCIDENTALLY play...

Suck My KissWii65th476th233,501 (7.3)100%562Apr. 3, 2008, 4:52AMoverstrum tremolo

ROFL!!!  I Suck SOOOO bad at this song, I couldn't even hit the main riff before!  I had NO clue what the SP was, so I lost about 25K to star power path (comparing to another person with the same note streak as me).  Not only that, that tremolo part I was like totally zoned out as I'm ridiculously tired right now.  I get to the end and was like holy shit wtf how did that happen...  I overstrummed at the very end of it, because naturally you want to end on a downstroke and.. there was no last note there :-/.  Then, I still FCed the rest of the song.  Stupid SP path!!!  Stupid no-FC!!

I tried one more time and failed, miserably!

That weird HOPO shit before the tremolo even I was strumming only the strum notes and doing the HOPOs perfectly, I can never last in any of this god damn song, that was such a ridic run.  I wish I got my +45K instead of +20K but whatever, I'll take it.

I *highly* doubt I'll go back and FC this for a long time, if I ever get back into that whole "go for FCs" phase, but its nice to add more to the list of doables, to know that 50 is a real possibility.

Avalancha is becoming one of my most favourite tracks to play!. I play it almost all the time online matches. Still can't be bothered to go for a high score on anything anymore though. I'm really not trying at all lately. not enough time anyway.. I've fallen down the ranks now aswel from 92nd to 93rd soo.. as long as I stay in the top 100 im really not too bothered

Edit: actually I fell to 95th, i got scared by this and re-fc'd a few songs... jumped back up to 88th... im only 5 places behind cyberwrath now though.

I had a go at the Avalancha SP path that you love so much Octo!, it's great fun, but for some reason I never could fc the song in the few attempts I tried.. so i'll re-fc it another day, although i did PR even though I had a -1 lol...

AAAAH FUCK!

ricky and i are messing around on stricken, I took the solo to pratice mode and first try... -2!!  I missed the last 2 notes of it, oh man I was so excited...  The end of the solo I rarely hit, but :-D at hitting the 1st and 2nd basically all of the 3rd.

I guess with a first try near FC, I definitely have Stricken on my "FCable" list, and take it off of my joke list!  haha

Knights of CydoniaWii51st351st467,310 (6.9)99%466

I finished each section at 4x and on the chord - which really helped.  The first section was 47K and meh..  Second was 166K and very nice, only broke combo twice I believe, and the third section started off AWFUL but ended fine.  Think it was 264K?  Then I oddly messed up in the HOPO section, I was trying to talk, then I also messed up once in the outro riff I think it was a fingering problem, not a strumming adjustment problem.

Either way, barely missed 7* and I've gotten waaay better at the accuracy of my altstrumming, so I'll probably go for 480K here or something, which would be like messing up 1-3 times in the 1st and 3rd sections and FCing the rest of the song.

Played a bit today...the results were pretty good (for me).  Now I feel I'm finally getting back into a groove.  Maybe more good scores will come soon!  Many of my songs could be improved by 100000 points or so, without much effort, as there are at least 10 that I've not played in MONTHS that I never played seriously even at that time...
