The Aztec 00 Agent challenge!

As the topic says, there's going to be a new challenge out there for the entire month of April.

I am offering $50 USD to whoever posts the fastest completed time on Aztec 00 Agent using the ancient Jaws strat. The old world record was 2:33 (untaped) by Steven Zwartjes, the fastest time on tape is 2:38 by Ben "Paragon" Gorman, which can be found here: http://www.thengamer.com/GE/19-Aztec/Paragon%20-%20Aztec%20-%2000%20-238.mpeg

I might participate, but I doubt I'd ever win something like this  :nesquik: This is a freeroll, you are not obligated to pay anything and anyone can participate. I'm *hoping* to generate enough interest to push this record into the 2:0x range with some players still competing towards the end of the month. Good luck!

Ha... that 2:38 is such an awful run by current standards. I'd be surprised it it took more than 10 minutes for players like Ace/Marc/David to beat that.

Surprised how 2:38 is not THAT bad, only took me 30-40 mins though. Guess i'm going for around 2:30 with this strat, riskier strats seems awful gay :kappa:

Sorry Marc, this challenge was DEAD ages ago when I revoked the offer (several times) in everyone's chat! Everyone thought it was *too gay* to try, so I said to heck with it all!

Edit: Meh, Alex never took it out of the incentive topic and I never closed this topic. Damnit I wanted some competition for this, so gay.

lolling this "event" is so ridiculous.  It's hilarious that no one wanted to play for it.  I wanted to give it a shot but had other levels and stuff on my mind.

Took 8 minutes on PAL, can see 2:15ish on a great run and 2:10ish if real work is put into it. Definitely not gay.

Wow didn't even seem like you won much time, other than a gayer jaws strat and bit more risky black room, that run was LUCKY as fuck :kappa: Converter losing mission time confirmed, i'm the best GE player ever.

Whoah, that run is worth 51 points? Maybe I should play Aztec again (though I swore I'd never return once I finally beat it on 00A).
